"nice modern hotel in quiet area"
Great Service staff who bothered to write us a congratulatory note for our Honeymoon. we were also given room upgrade, strawberries and fudge upon arrival Upgraded room was huge with a separate living area, balcony and bathroom. Bed was big and comfy Hotel is 15mins walk to St Peters square, 12mins walk to Metro, with couple of nice eateries around the area. Prati area is slightly off the main tourist attractions such as Colosseum and Trevi fountain, but area is less touristy

"Weekend in Rome"
We had a really pleasant stay at the Leonardo. The breakfast was great: I enjoyed the freshly squeezed fruit juices, particularly the broccoli and red grape juice. The staff was very helpful especially as regards directions and generally finding our way around. The hotel is near the Vatican but away from the bustle, which suited us very well. Our room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary Wi-Fi worked perfectly.

    Where to stay in Vatican

Pocket Guide: Rome Vatican NH Pet-friendly Hotels

The world's smallest country, Vatican City is dominated by St Peter's, Christendom's largest church. Michelangelo's humbling 'Pietà' and his Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos are among the world's greatest works of art. The Aurelio area is named after the ancient Via Aurelia, the main road that connected Rome with Spain, and is convenient for visiting the city's sights.
