quaint hotel inside old city wallsPosted Oct 21, 2013
Loved this hotel which was really a studio apartment with its own kitchenette. Owner emailed us helpful instructions before we arrived and gave us more hints after we got there. Location was great near the information center and town center as well to the local train station (not TGV). Would definitely stay there again

Excellent valuePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Excellent location; very welcoming host.
Cons: Nothing of note.
Location: Near most attractions - museums, theatres, historical theatres.
Excellent situation within no more than 10 minutes walking distance of most of the main attractions, libraries, theatres, and restaurants. Slightly off the main tourist route but this is a distinct advantage, given the quiet location and the proximity to authentic regional French restaurants and competitively priced menus. The hotel has carefully chosen period furniture to complement the traditional architecture, illustrated in the external facades, and the winding staircase, yet the owners have not sacrificed the modern requirements with regard to comfort. But above all, the personal attention from a very friendly and welcoming host makes this a top-rated hotel, which gives excellent value for the price charged.

Great, quiet appartment close to the centrePosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Central and quiet
Cons: For the price per night, I would expect a hairdryer to be provided
Location: Orange and Arles have fantastic Roman architecture and L'Isle sur la Sorgue is lovely. Also Chateauneuf du Pape for amazing wine tasting.
The appartment was perfect for a stay of 5 days. We were close to a lovely artisan boulangerie for morning croissants and also to the free shuttle to the car park Les Italiens as there is no parking outside Le Petit Paradis. All the best restaurants are a quick walk away and Sabine is happy to provide recommendations.

Lovely studio room in central positionPosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: The position and it was very quaint
Sabine was a lovely friendly host who helped us with directions and suggestions for sightseeing. Our room was spotless and very comfortable although we had street noise the first night

Fantastic locationPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The owners were very friendly and helpful and Sabine, whose English was excellent, pointed us in the right direction for good restaurants and buses.
Cons: Needed a bit more space for suitcases as we had to climb over them to get to the bathroom
Location: Right in the heart of old Avignon which is a very easy city to walk around. Minutes from all main squares and attractions.
Lovely, well equipped little studio apartment in the old quarter of Avignon, just around the corner from Les Halles, the indoor vegetable market. The studio had a tiny kitchen (not that we used it apart from the fridge) and a charming shared courtyard with a wall fountain and evergreen shrubs, where we enjoyed our croissant and coffee both mornings in the sunshine. My daughter and I stayed Saturday and Sunday night and the room we had was at the front of the building. On the Saturday evening it was very noisy but on Sunday much better and quieter, but would have preferred a room at the rear of the property. We arrived at Avignon by TGV and it is a short and cheap bus ride to the big Post Office in Avignon and then a 10 minute walk to the apartment. Ensure you have the exact location before you set off as the Rue is tiny and we could not find it on the map.

Wonderful self catering accommodationPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Wonderful people and lovely decor
Location: Not far from shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the Palace of the Popes
Beautiful accommodation we couldn't have been made welcome. We travelled from the UK and have never been to the area before but would recommend Provance and this hotel in particular.

Lovely hostsPosted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: It was very clean and 'quaint'.
Cons: Nothing about the accommodation, it was great.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, shops, museums, Pope's Palace etc. I would also recommend one of the excursion around Provence.
I stayed in a studio apartment which was more that adequate for my needs - very clean, nice décor and all the amenities that I needed. The owners were incredibly friendly and informative about the area but were not overbearing. It is located away from the main street but within mins of restaurants and shops etc. If you are looking for somewhere 'cosy' and away from the usual hotels, I would recommend a stay here. My experience was very enjoyable.

Tranquil ParadisePosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This quiet, quaint, clean and convenient auberge was managed by two very helpful and friendly people, who helped make our stay very pleasant and comfortable. It was close to the markets and restaurants, and 5min walk from every museum, palace, shopping area and tourist site, but was on a quiet narrow street that reminded one of the culture in times past. The small kitchenette made it convenient for breakfast using fresh ingredients from the nearby market (Les Halles) and bakeries, and the furnishings suited the character of the centuries old building. Altogether, an enjoyable experience.

Convenient position in the old part of town.Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: The old part of Avignon was the place to be for easy access to everything.
Cons: Well, the room was tiny. Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed our stay.
Location: We could walk in either direction from the hotel and find shops, restaurants and tourist places.
The location in the old part of town was good. The room was small, but it did have "character" and we were out most of the time so it was OK. We could walk to a good market, parks and lots of shops.
