“Superb location”

This hotel is in a superb location - just across the road from the main entrance to the city of Avignon. 500 metres up the road is the SNCF station where, if you are inclined you can travel further afield. We booked a superior room through Expedia and it was brilliant. Two double beds, a comfortable lounge , bathroom with bath and shower. The two patio doors led mout onto a lovely courtyard where we would come back with our lunch and enjoy the sunshine. The pool on the roof top is VERY small but delightful. Avignon has enough to do for a 4 day break and be sure to walk over the bridge (about 30 mins) to explore VIlleneuve. Staff discreet and freindly. We didn't eat at the hotel as Avignon has loads of restaurants to suit all budgets.Without doubt a great hotel and location.

“Gorgeous!”

My room was stunning. The staff tried very hard to understand the many different languages they were presented with, and helped in any way they could. Pool area was clean, and although well attended, was never over-crowded. I didn't have a single complaint, and would happily stay here again. If you arrive by train at Avignon TGV, get either a train or shuttle bus (10 mins ish) to Avignon Central and you will be right next to the hotel. That said, I don't remember hearing any train noise. I slept soundly!

“Great Location”

This is a very good hotel, the room was comfortable and the public areas are well decorated. The rooftop swimming is a nice area to sunbath or relax, although the pool is a little on the small side. The best thing about this hotel is the location, only 200 meters from the old town walls and 10-15 minute walk to the Popes Palace.

“Excellent Avignon Hotel”

We found the staff were friendly and very helpful. Check in only took a couple of minutes -- there were not the usual long forms to fill in. the room was a good size with a king size bed, and a large en-suite shower room. The buffet evening meal is good value and beutifully presented. We had forgotten how good food in France is. The hotel is well situated, just outside the city walls, and a short walk to shops, restaurants and attractions.

“Clean and best location”

Very close from the Avignon center station and Avignon center. Clean and spacy. Great breakfast but it was not included in the hotel package booked from expedia, so paid Euro 16 per day per person.

“Enjoyed our stay”

Very impressive hotel inside - spacious rooms and very comfortable. Dinner was expensive for only one choice of menu - easier to eat at restaurants in the town where there is more choice. Conveniently located for access to trains and buses and all historical buildings in Avignon within walking distance. Great city to visit for a few days - do go over the river to Villeneuve - well worth it!
