Good basic hotelPosted Oct 19, 2013
The highlight of this hotel was the staff. The front desk folks were exceptionally helpful giving directions, booking restaurants and a pleasure to deal with as were the folks serving breakfast. The location of the hotel is also great right on the main street or in the centre of things. Our room was very quiet as it was tucked away although it got no real light but I will trade quiet for light any day. The hotel was clean and the rooms had been updated in terms of new bathrooms etc. so very modern. No real charm to it but given that one is not spending alot of time there it is a good place to base your exploration of Avignon.

Comfortable enough in a convenient location.Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Convenient location; comfortable enough for a short stay; affordable.
Cons: Refurbishment of the public areas and bathrooms.
Location: Close to everything, the station and the old town attractions. Dont miss the Pont, the Palais and Petti Palais; wander the cobbled streets.
Suited us for a short stay before collecting our hir car from the TGV station. It is within the old town walls, walking distance to the Pont and all the old town center; close to the local station and a short taxi ride to the TGV. Our room on the first floor had been refurbished fairly recently, but the bathroom was dated- yet still perfectly functional. The reception area and breakfast room need updating. The staff were friendly and helpful. Seems to be a hotel favoured by tour groups.

Bristol was beaut!Posted Aug 12, 2013
We were grateful to find this hotel just inside the city walls after a long day of travelling to Avignon. We had a great room overlooking the street, which was abuzz with the sounds of performers hawking their shows as part of the Avignon festival. This was not a problem with the double glazing. Staff were friendly, helping our friend temporarily store her luggage and phoning for taxis. Location was good if you are happy to walk for 10 minutes to the Palais Des Papes etc. A one night stay that was pleasant and relaxing.

Hotel in good location with very pleasant staffPosted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Electric points in room
Location: Brilliant - everything you need nearby
Really friendly staff - always smiling - excellent English but happy to let you try French and answered in French when you did. Excellent location near to station and tourist office, post office and bus station and local buses. Very clean rooms, good size and good bathroom - could have been more electric points in room - had to disconnect tv to use one. Good to have unlimited free Wi-Fi. Breakfast about the price you'd expect in a hotel but good choice and possible to eat heartily and not need lunch. Breakfast staff also very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

Boutique hotel in an excellent location near restaurants, cafes, a tabac, laundry, street parking as well as parking offered by the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the staff absolutely superb. Always willing to offer advice, tips, and assistance when needed. all in all, a wonderful stay.

Great locationPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Big room and clean
Cons: Lack of kettle
Location: Great - catch 1.30 euro bus from the TGV TRAIN and walk 100m up Main Street to hotel - very easy
Great place to stay just beware no tea or coffee making facilities in room and they tell you no food in fridge in room to eat in your room. We did but the rule is be careful. Otherwise superb place to stay.

Good quality hotel in excellent locationPosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms comfortable if a bit ordinary (no frills!). Good breakfast bar, always well stocked. What recommends it however is the friendliness and accommodating nature of all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble! Also excellent location, just within old city walls, few minutes from tourist info office; easy walk to historic centre and few minutes from shuttle bus to TGV station.
