Wonderful oasisPosted Jul 1, 2014
This was an all-round great place to stay. Staff we're very friendly and obliging: we arrived 6 hours earlier than intended, and they had our room ready within 90 minutes! Al fresco buffet breakfast was delicious and there was a huge range to choose from. The garden was delightful with lots of shaded areas. Beds were comfy and decor simple but tasteful. Would highly recommend La Magnaneraie; have already done so!

Quaint hotel with charm.Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The location and staff were great.
Cons: The room was stuffy.
Location: Loved that it was a quiet little town outside of Avignon, but you could catch the bus easily to do things nearby.
A friendly and welcoming staff were always helpful. A nice location that was walkable and relaxing.

Nice place, great gardensPosted Sep 29, 2013
Nice hotel, a little over the top.. But, the gardens are great, quiet streets, not far away from the center.

Lovely Hotel near AvignonPosted Sep 27, 2013
Location: 2 mins by car over the bridge from Avignon. Lots to see in area.
Stayed one night mid September after returning from a wedding, much nicer than we anticipated. We had stayed 2 nights in Avignon for the wedding nearby and then travelled a bit a come back here to see the other side of Avignon-Wish we had stayed here all the time as had an enormous room with balcony over pool area. Unfortunately didn't have time to use the pool as it was a bit chilly that day Had dinner and was excellent ,lots of extra food in between courses and all delicious!! left early the next day so didn't have breakfast. Would definitely return.

This is a lovely old place with beautiful gardens, about 6-7 minutes from busy Avignon. Staff were helpful and charming, the room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant food and service really lovely. Weather was quite warm and bedding was a bit heavy for us but we would certainly visit again.

Lovely hotel for a family and a romantic breakPosted Aug 4, 2013
A well run hotel with lovely gardens that lends itself perfectly to alfresco dining. Pool bar served up beautiful food at a very competitive price. Limited choice but what was on the menu was lovely. Lovely location and well placed for exploring such a lovely region of France. Would happily return.

OK to GoodPosted Jul 28, 2013
This hotel is located outside of Avignon, which is not a problem if you are driving. Finding it can be tricky though, especially since streets leading to it are one-way. Hotel grounds are very nice - the back yard/garden and the pool are fantastic. But the rooms were disappointing - cheap furniture, bath tub with no curtains (impossible to take proper shower), quite uncomfortable beds.

10 minute walk from local village and bus journey to Avignon. Arrived hungry at 8 pm and was told we were unable to eat in restaurant despite empty garden section that was used the subsequent evening. Pretty garden but our room was not at all like the brochure- more like 1980s motel. Staff vey nice.
