Romance Romance

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: The buildings, the furnishing and interior decor in the main building, the garden and dining on the garden terrace
Cons: The bedroom we had could benefit from more character French furniture. There is definitely room for it.
Location: The location is so close to Avignon, but is nestled away from the hustle and bustle. Only a 17E taxi ride- well worth it.
Like walking into a cliché French Romance Movie. Not a bad thing! Beautiful old building and lovely garden. Restaurant delivers superb French Cuisine and benefits from an excellent Sommelier. We stayed just the one night to get the "real French experience" to contrast our modern-generic hotel in Avignon. Definitely recommend you do the same- this place delivers!!! Splash out and star in your own French Romance...

Last stay in France before moving on to Spain . .

Pros: The overall package, no detail was left unattended. Fantastic food, facilities, pool, gardens and staff.
Cons: Better directions to get to the Hotel.
Location: The village is beautiful and full of life, great restaurants and shops.
The Najeti Hotel la Magnaneraie was superb. This is a magical part of the area. I am so pleased that I selected this hotel for our stay in Villeneuve Les Avignon instead of staying in Avignon. This was our fifth place for lodging on our trip from Paris through Provence, and by far the most lovely. The setting was picturesque and the facilities were top notch, wonderful staff and not one thing disappointed.

excellent atmosphere

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere was the best of our 1 month Europe vacation.
Cons: As always North Americans like to have face cloths in the bathrooms.
Location: Didn't honestly get a chance to really check out the surroundings.
We stayed one night and wished we had stayed many more. The Hotel is the perfect location and the hotel atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing stay. The garden patio is amazing for all meals and rooms are real cozy with plenty of room for us. Plus there is a beautiful large outdoor pool that we found very enjoyable. And it is not far to walk to the nearby square. We recommend this Hotel to all travellers.

Pros: Staff, particularly, reception, excellent.
Cons: Evening meals were rather pretentious and limited, which caused us to eat out but did present some nice maels.
Location: A good ten minutes walk from the centre of the village
Hotel and staff - fine. Food reasonable but limited.

Lovely traditional hotel.

Pros: The meals in the restaurant were expensive, but were excellent - well worth the money.
Cons: The weather!!!
Location: On a quiet street in a lovely location. Near to Avignon with the Palais des Papes, the Pont d'Avignon and the River Rhone.
