“5-Star Restaurant, Convenient to Liszt Ferenc Airport, Fabulour Staff”

The hotel is great ... 4-star and close to the Budapest Airport. While in a rural/industial area, it is quiet and the rooms are exposed to a lovely courtyard and pool. Of course, the hotel has all of the amenities, but it's the restaurant that you should not overlook. The menu from foie gras to traditional Hungarian cabbage soup or fresh crisp-roasted ham hock to favorite French dishes. In the future, I will look no further than the Airport Hotel Stáció when needing a room near the airport (and I might even bring friends from the city for a delightful dinner).

The hotel service was very good. Everyone spoke English so it was not a problem being understood. The room was clean and we ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were good with a variety of foods to choose from. We were fine with the location but there are no shops or restaurants around the hotel if that is what you are looking for. It seems to be a combination of business and residential. It is good for an overnight stay close to the airport.

“Very good for airport”

The reception was pretty good, the rooms so spacious you wondered what had not been installed (luugage table, for example), the dinner was excellent and value for money. One of us found only lukewarm water when he wanted to take a bath at 23:30, but otherwise we we both satisfied. This hotel caters largely for departing visitors and has an excellent shuttle service to the airport. Less satiscatory was the breakfast: our shottle left at exactly the time (06:30) when the buffet breakfast was due to start, but we were told there would be a limited brakfast before that. There was: no hot drinks, no fruit juice, no milk for the cereals, only jam to put on the bread. Just as we were about to leave a waitress started bringing the mssing items but took no notice of us at all.

The hotel is close to Budapest airport although it takes a bit of driving to get there (or the shuttle provided by the hotel). Rooms are comfortable and the bath products are fine. I didn't use the pool but took a tour and it looks nice with saunas, steam room, jacuzzi, pool, etc. Breakfast was OK. The hotel has a few English language TV stations on cable (BBC News and Disney Channel). Parking is free. You would probably want a car if you were going to stay here more than one night since there is nothing in the immediate area. My main criticism was that the third bed (kids bed?) in my room was unmade and it detracted from the overall ambiance of the hotel. All in all it's not bad but definitely not the Hilton.

“Close to airport and had free shuttle.”

We wanted a hotel close to the airport so it would not be too much a hassle to board our next morning's flight at 8am. For that purpose, the hotel experience was extremely satisfying.

“Dreary room - not great, not terrible.”

Room was bare and dreary. Clean. Internet worked. Shuttle to airport was good and timely - but no other way to get there. From airport a bit of a nuisance as I had to use a shuttle service at their convenience. Restaurant not cheap but good food and service. In residential neighbourhood and no other nearby choices. Within walking distance of suburban train line to downtown. Good enough for a stop-over.
