Clean hotel two minutes from fantastic beach.
Good hotel next to the beach. Room small but adequate for our one night stay. Friendly staff. Beautiful dining room.

It was just the worse place I have ever stayed in! not clean, needed complete renovation, tiny room not enough space to swing a hamster! It gave the appearance of a brothel with bizarre decor and terrible strange lighting! Rules about everything that had to be signed!! Had to park long way away at the station as no parking at the hotel! Unhelpful man on reception. Only plus was it was near the seafront and town but I couldn’t wait to leave 😧 Please spend your money elsewhere!

A little Tired but Clean & Comfortable
This is a 3 star hotel and it shows. The decor is, well it looked liked it was designed by a committee that never met. But if you can get past that, and the rather expensive for what it is breakfast, it was clean and I slept very well. You can't fault the location either, 3 mins walk to the sea front where the evenings are a joy of street entertainers and families enjoying themselves. Spend your time there and not in your room and you won't go far wrong. It also has a secure car park, which is a bit like gold dust around here.

Good well located hotel to the town and beach
Well located hotel, close to beach and promenade. Friendly English speaking staff. Well run! Breakfast room is a real feature and has lots of original character & charm. Lots to do in Les Sables but one needs more time. I will return and stay in the same hotel in due course.

Great stay The jacuzzi on roof top is a must! Nice staff. Wonderful decoration. The breakfast room is worth the visit !!! Perfect location is city center Ideal for romantic week end Rooms a bit small... as most of rooms in Europe

Quirky hotel with odd mixture of styles
Worth staying here just for the dining room which is original to the house, the rest of the decor can only be described as 'quirky' and was not to my taste. on the plus side everything was clean and comfortable. we paid extra for a 'romantic' room with a sea view which I wouldn't have bothered to do if I had known that the hotel was two blocks from the seafront and the sea could only be seen over the rooftops.

Lovely Blue Skies
One-night stay as we were preparing to return to Paris and conclude our 22-day vacation in France. Wish we could have stayed longer. Les Sables d'Olonne is a nice resort city located on the Atlantic, and the Arc en Ciel hotel is centrally located and accessible, with parking nearby.

A gem!
We found a lot to love about this hotel: a room with a sea-view, service, breakfast, reception, and location. For anyone with a taste for art, the breakfast room is very interesting. And fifty yards away, a sensational beach! I`d love to stay again next year.

funky hotel, with the most amazing colour scheme. loved the hot tub on the roof. Breakfast is a must in the incredible panelled dining room with decorated ceiling. Staff were lovely and helpful. Pity the car park was so tiny, it's a difficult place to park.

Recommended - good location and comfortable - good
The location is perfect for the sea front, shopping and the excellent restaurants that abound here, especially around the quay. The rooms are compact and the shower room is too small. The balcony is also not great with a view mostly of other rooftops. The hot tub on the roof is excellent but not as big as some photos pretend. However we recommend this hotel and would visit again. The staff were very polite and helpful. Thanks.

Quirky, comfortable, convenient.
The decor is original and quirky - this is not your average hotel! I do like standard multinational hotels, but this was a refreshing change. Because the building is old and the decor arty, we didn't really expect the standards of cleanliness and comfort to be so high, but everything was great. The room and bathroom were not big, but had everything we needed, including a kettle and tea/coffee (rare in France, or am I out of date?) and a superb shower. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Les Sables d'Olonne and a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. The only weakness is the limited breakfast buffet and if you come late the coffee isn't hot. Worth having breakfast at least once, though, to experience the room.

Great holiday. Lovely hotel, quirky and excellent in all respects. Clean, modern room. Everything has been thought of. Fabulous dining room, free wi fi. Could not have been more helpful. Hope to go back soon and would recommend to all. The dog on reception is a real character and the cutest ever, not a murmur or growl, but loved lots of attention!!

Charming seaside hotel
We had a lovely four-night stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the rooms, though on the small side, were beautifully and imaginatively decorated – we had starfish, coral, turtles, constellations and more adorning the walls and ceilings which made for both a romantic and memorable stay. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we also had a loggia so that we could sit out in the evenings and dry our beach towels etc. The location was also great – moments from the beach and a few minutes walk from the town centre. Overall I felt this hotel was truly unique and represented very good value for money.

Le mystère de la chambre fantôme (et plus chère) !
Hôtel à éviter : la chambre quadruple n'existe pas ! Madame a fini par me trouver une chambre pour 4, mais d'un confort nettement inférieur à la description initiale, et en voulant me faire payer un supplément. Mais il a fallut attendre 40min pour cela, bravo l'accueil en famille. A ce jour, la chambre fantôme est toujours en ligne, est-ce une preuve de mauvaise foi ? Petit déjeuner très cher. Chambre petite. Isolation phonique inexistante aussi bien pour le son entre les chambres que pour le bruit des équipements extérieurs (bruit fort de ventilation et pourtant il y avait du vent qui aurait pu couvrir). Toutes les descriptions semblent nettement enjolivées sur le site. En tout cas, pas de SPA accessible librement, piscine pas vue, parking payant. Mais peut-être que c'est lié à l'accueil froid que l'on ne nous a pas tout dit.

Un hôtel 3 étoiles qui n'en mérite à peine une. 150€ la nuit dans une chambre privilège qui n'est qu'un cagibi peint en rose, chambre minuscule, douche minuscule 50cm de large. Déco vieillissante, au prix de la nuit c'est absolument honteux. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos, on est loin de la réalité. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment mesquin, pas de fruits, peu de choix, jus d'orange chaud, à 15€ le petit déjeuner c'est une honte. Fuyez!
