Honest and straight forward personal experience
Good service for the price, very nice people at the desk. Close to the train station and venice landmarks. Good place to stay if you travel on a budget, only down thing is probably bedbugs in the room we stayed, me , my wife and my son been having the skin rash usually going with bedbugs.

Close to the train station, has luggage storage, lots of shopping and food nearby, and helpful staff. It reminded me of staying in a cute guest house rather than a basic hotel. You do need to be able to carry suitcases up a flight of stairs.

Es un hotel familiar, limpio con habitaciones muy basicas pero por el precio que pagas esta muy bien. El personal muy amable. El hotel esta ubicado en un barrio muy tansitado, al lado de tiendas, supermercado y transport public. A 20 min caminando del puente de Rialto y 30 min se la Piazza San Marco. Lo negativo son los mosquitos en las habitaciones y ruidos de los otros guespedes poco respetuosos.

Overall, our stay was okay. Initially we were put in a room which had a lot of mosquitoes and was not very clean as noted by the dead bugs on the walls which had not been removed prior to our check in. However, when we complained to the front desk staff they did change our room and that one was much better. The location of the hotel is excellent especially if arriving by train as it is only a few minutes away. Please note that the entrance to the annex is down an alley which seems very common in Venice but it would be great if the hotel could add a light for guests to make it less daunting at night. Wifi was available but not very strong which was fine for us as we spent a lot of our time outside of the hotel. The entrance to the hotel (main and annex) is only accessible via stairs so definitely avoid if you use a wheelchair or stroller. One big ask for the hotel would be to provide a sign that allows guests to opt out of daily cleaning by housekeeping. We were very surprised to find our room cleaned when we returned after the first night and our stuff had been moved (nothing was taken) but this is a service that we usually prefer to be optional.

super quaint, the staff is grumpy but in a totally charming way and the owner is very nice. clean rooms and bathrooms and great aesthetic. very very close to the train/bus station. affordable too. no regrets, not even one.

The room was small but that was expected. There was a sink in the room and a shared bathroom with another room. It's important to note that there are a lot of stairs to get into the apartment and then even more stairs to get to the room. No elevator. The owners knew enough english to get by but were not fluent. Overall, the room was priced appropriately. Nice accommodations for the cost.

The staff at Adua Hotel are super friendly and caring! The bed was confortable and the room was nice, price and service were correct. My only comment would be to pay a bit more of attention to small details in cleaning.

The service and cleanliness is okay but condition of towels were disappointing. Shared areas of bathroom and toilets need at least two time cleaning. Aircon was not working in the room and it was discomfortable and hot in the room.

Excellent location. Room and bathroom very small. Airconditioning, while operating, did not seem to cool the room, very humid, hard to sleep. Very steep and narrow stairs to reception, hard to navigate with luggage.

It was a very convenient location. The man at the check in was very polite and friendly. The only issue is that our room was in another building adjacent to the hotel. Also the Wi-Fi was very weak, it almost didn’t work.

We stayed in a quad room with a shared bath in the annex building. It was clean and comfortable. Great locations and great price!! The only negative was we had to carry luggage up 2 flights since there was no elevator. However for the price I would do it again. Also never even saw other guests so the 2 bathrooms on the floor was never a issue.

We arrived at midnight due to a delayed flight and the door was closed. We rang the bell and the owner was very annoyed that we arrived so late. Room was alright but was loud as the doors and walls are very thin.

The hotel was in a perfect location, very close to the train station and the main sites! We were allowed to leave our bags the next day after check out so we could explore Venice without them which was really helpful. The room was a little noisy at night as you can hear through the walls very easily in the annex building. Over all though we had a lovely stay!

The rooms were bare bones and it provided a place to stay. The amenities are minimal. If all you need is a bed to stay, this place is ok. The staff were friendly and provided information requested and able to provide some amenities upon request. There is a long stairway with no elevators. The wifi was very spotty.

Nice location but awful room
Centre location but we had to haul our luggage up 15 stairs. (5 suitcases).. only to be told that we have to go to another building nearby, where the room was on 2nd floor. Room didn’t look like anything in pictures. 180 degree opppsite. Shared bathroom with others- that wasn’t informed while booking. Mosquitos in the night. Lots of street noise. They agreed for us to leave our luggage for few hours but essentially told us to leave it in a closet which had tons of junk lying there. No locks! We decided to rent a locker at Piazzale Roma. Not recommended at all
