Very clean, continental breakfast simple but OK. Staff very kind. Sat down on edge of bed and it collapsed, so I used the mattress on the floor. 54 steps up to B&B, so be prepared for a climb. Nice cafe a block away for light dinner.
I Heart Venezia!Posted Jul 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
This B&B/apartment in Venice was so comfortable and homey. I am so glad that I stayed here. Violette was very helpful giving me water and a map upon arrival and pointing me toward Santo Marco. My room and the bathroom was very clean, I felt like I was staying at a family member's home-especially in the morning when guests from the other two rooms ate breakfast with us. The area is quite a few stops away on the water bus, but thats not a big deal because it's not long and its fun to walk around Venice. I loved my stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

B & B off the beaten pathPosted Jun 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
The staff at this little B&B were extremely accommodating and hospitable, very sweet people. It might not say on the listing, but this place is located on Calle Gabriele. There is no obvious sign for it, so be aware. Great view and nice to get a little bit away from all the tourist stops. Very clean, too...

A lovely surprise. Our room was ideal for the family, had a lovely view and the host was very polite and helpful. Also an excellent location for the islands ferry services.

GREAT B&BPosted Dec 29, 2010
Higly Recommended! Situated only 5 min walk from the most popular streets. Friendly and helpfull staff and owners, really clean and confortable! They had a nice shared living room with books and puzzles for adults and kids, and even some toys if your kids forgot theirs. Really friendly, they will help you with recommendations of places to eat and to go, we will go back again!

Simple, quiet, clean, and convenient.Posted May 28, 2010
This is a small guest house with three rooms and a shared bath. It is immaculately clean. We stayed in the pink room for two nights & enjoyed a beautiful view of a canal, bridge, and church. We then stayed in the yellow room, which was smaller with a view of surrounding buildings. Each morning a simple breakfast was graciously served in the breakfast room. Croissants, breads, & melba toast were served with various jams, butter, nutella, etc. Orange juice & your choice of coffee or tea accompanied the meal. The hotel is on the third floor, so if you have difficulty with stairs this is not the hotel for you. Almoro is very close to the F Nove water-bus station...very convenient to & from Marco Polo airport. This hotel is a little off the beaten path, situated on a very narrow street, so it's a good quiet location. Still, it's a quick & pleasant walk to San Marco or Rialto. Around the corner (corner of Calle della Testa) was a nice little cafe with wonderful food & reasonable prices. It was operated by a young Asian couple & seemed to be simply known as Snack Bar. There is also an ice cream shop, a bakery, & several other convenient amenities nearby Be sure to call and let the Almoro staff know when to expect you; they are not on-site most of the time. They will meet you to let you in and give you the keys. Also be sure to make a good notation of the location. It's easy to find if you know where to go, but you're not going to just stumble on it without your map. Enjoy!
