Pros: The pick up and drop off facility (to and from the airport The bathroom- the shower, the buffet breakfast
Cons: Don't think anything is missing!
Location: There is a big mall, a stone throw to the hotel that has everything including and American style Steak house. 15 minutes ride to Venice Airport
We chose Antony Palace Hotel blindly. That was our first visit to Venice. We had no idea where we were going. We were asking information services on how to call a taxi to take us to the hotel, when it was suggested that we call the hotel first, the hotel might pick us up. So we called the hotel. The staff just asked for our name and said a bus will pick us in 5 minutes. The staff informed us where to wait for the bus. Before we got to the place, the bus was parked, with the name of the hotel written boldly on it. The driver was courteous, told us within 15 minutes (the distance between the airport and the hotel) on what to do, where to eat etc in Venice. Moreover, the bus was available to us every time we need it for 5 euros per person per trip! We checked in to a very spacious room (space is a problem in Europe and Europe hotels). It was a cold, raining day. What a relive to find the cleanest and best bathroom with a shower that can be likened to a rainfall of hot water on our head. The breakfast was a buffet-lots of choices- We will recommend this hotel to anyone who desires luxurious living at a budget price. ,

Nice hotel, but in an industrial areaPosted Nov 23, 2013
Spent three nights here as part of a tour. Room and hotel were spotless, helpful staff. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the location in a more industrial area, so a lack of eateries and cafes in the area. WiFi was free and reliable. Good and relatively cheap shuttle service to airport and train station available through front desk.

10 minute walk from the train station (with luggage, at night). We took a train directly from Venice, it took 20 minutes or so. Room was great, staff was great (and spoke English). Nice breakfast had lots of variety. The pictures of the rooms Expedia shows are the rooms you get, very nice.

Great hotel for stay near (not in!) VenicePosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Attractive, new hotel. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff.
Location: Not much to do there, but a shopping mall is within walking distance. This is not in central Venice! There is a shuttle that goes there, though.
While the hotel is not in central Venice, there is an inexpensive shuttle that gets you there in about 20 minutes. We were arrived late one night and were beginning a cruise the next day. The shuttle dropped us right near the cruise terminal, so it was a perfect spot for us. The price was right and included a delicious breakfast buffet. The room was quiet and very attractive (new), beds very comfortable and the staff were quite accommodating. All in all, a great stay for the price!
