Compact, rustic and charming.

Pros: That it's NOT a hotel. Rustic and different.
Cons: Free sheets and towels. Wifi.
Location: Close to Rialto Bridge and waterbus terminals but slightly away from the tourist track/piazzas. Easy walks to San Marco, San Polo district etc.
This is not a hotel. Laura met us at the terminal (use waterbus Line 2 to Rialto to avoid steps) and we had a lovely week in her little apartment. It is compact and old with timber beams, but in a fabulous position near the Rialto Bridge and on an almost direct line through winding lanes and bridges to San Marco. We loved it, but be aware that it has a tiny bathroom and no air con or wifi. Fans cooled us well. Terrific seafood diagonally across the road. We felt like we were living like locals. We could take time out to have lunch at home and then a nap. Additional cost for towels and linen was unexpected. If you're in for a non-hotel experience, you may love this.

Pros: Location
Cons: Shower no water pressure
Location: Awesome
This is an apartment owed by somebody who rents it out to tourists, so it is not a hotel of serviced apartment as such. However it is a great location on a few min walk to Rialto Bridge and San Marco, Laura the owner is lovely the apartment is clean. Howev it is up to you to maintain this as it is does not get serviced. I loved it and thought it was great.
