lovely boutique hotelPosted May 25, 2013
Pros: Really nicely furnished, great location
Cons: No lift!
This was a lovely boutique hotel in a very good location in Venice. It was close to a water taxi stop, and on a square with restaurants but not in the busiest area of of Venice. It was a fairly quick walk to St Mark's Square. To check-in you need to go to Locanda Florita. A very pleasant member of staff met us, and helped us by carrying one of our suitcases up to the top floor (4th floor, no lift!!). Our room was beautifully furnished, not much space for cases but we didn't mind because it was so lovely. The bathroom was really nice too, and we had little windows giving views across rooftops to different little views of the area. There was a rooftop terrace that we didn't use much but looked really pleasant, especially in the evenings, Prosecco was included! It was a quiet room (as requested) apart from the bells (which ring all across Venice) at 7.30am briefly. We didn't mind this as there was no traffic noise (obviously) or noise from the street in our room overnight.

Nice B&B, once you find it.Posted Feb 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not easy to find, even with sat nav on phone. Once found, staff were helpfull and friendly. 55 steps to our room and no elevator. Hand rail was not secure! room nice and comfortable. Dust on light switches, lamps and TV. Continental breakfast was good. Overall good quality B&B.

Convenient LocationPosted Sep 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
Wonderful B&B in a great location for must-see sights. The free prosecco on the roof terrace was a great touch! They do need more tables for breakfast, there are only 3! Me and my husband struggled to get breakfast in the morning and gave up on the last morning as we wanted to get out the door to see some sights.

Yes it was greatPosted Jun 23, 2012
Pros: Lovely bottles of prosecco on the roof terrace
Cons: No lift
Location: Perfect in venice
Fantastic place in the heart of venice. One slight gripe about the three floor climb to the room but other than that a great location, not hideously expensive and the staff were helpfulissimo.

Quiet and ComfortablePosted Jun 7, 2012
Pros: Central but quiet location.
Cons: The stairs!
Location: Just off the prime tourist locations.
We have just spent a lovely three nights at Bloom and would definitely recommend staying there. Its position adjacent to the fairly quiet Saint Stefano Square was ideal, quite central but within easy reach of the top tourist spots. The roof terrace was a lovely surprise along with the 'salon' where you could go and socialise over a glass of Prosecco with family and other guests. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice and served between 8 - 10am. The hotel staff although around at breakfast were attentive but unobtrusive.

Best find in Venice!!Posted May 31, 2012
Pros: The cozy feel of it as well as the less hectic location. Very helpful staff.
Cons: No elevator
Location: Absolutely perfect. Less hectic than San Marco Square. Take or request directions to hotel and no issues finding it. 5 minute walk from the Vaporetti.
We found Bloom B & B (and the other 2 properties in the hotel family, Settimo Cielo and Locanda Fiorita) completely by accident because all other Venice hotels were so highly priced. What a delightful find!! Bloom and Settimo Cielo actually share the same building -- Settimo Cielo on the first and second floors and Bloom on the third and fourth. Both are delightful and for us, being on the first floor (still up a few flights of stairs) was perfect because we had just come off a 2 week cruise and our luggage not small. Room lovely, clean and quiet. Beautiful bathroom. Soundproof windows that open into the lovely Campo San Stefano square. What you see on the websites for these properties are exactly what you get. Very elegant, delicious breakfast is included as is a complimentary full bottle of Prosecco. We emailed the hotel for directions from the Venice port and our directions were complete, perfect, and easy to follow. Check-in is at the Locanda Fiorita where the B&B reception desk is located. The B&B's are adjacent to it -- staff will take you to it. Wonderful rooftop patio. Easy walking distance to major spots in Venice. Would go back again in a heartbeat! Wish I could keep this place a secret but it would not be fair. Congratulations to property owners and staff and thank you!!

Lovely boutique B&B in the heart of VenicePosted May 14, 2012
Pros: Location, style
Cons: None really
Lovely boutique B&B in the heart of Venice, ideally located 5 mins walk from Sant Angelo vaporetto stop and less than 10 mins walk from San Marco. Buffet breakfast very good, and free glass of Prosecco a very nice touch. Our room was very comfortable with good (and essential!) aircon though compact - each room is different. There is a rooftop terrace which gives a chance for some relative peace. Note that the rooms are on the third floor and there is no lift.

Loved itPosted Nov 3, 2011
It is hard to find. Look for the doorbell with bloom on it in really small writing. But apart from that everything was great. Location, room appointments and Location. Would stay here again in a flash. Immediate area has some great little Cafe/bars and is a good starting point for any destination in venice.

A touch of venetian elegancePosted Sep 10, 2011
We had read about Bloom, found the website, and liked what we saw. Attached to its 'parent' hotel, Bloom is so understated from the outside, and beautifully appointed within. It was hard to believe that, as we relaxed on the roof terrace overlooking Campo San Stefano, with our complimentary Prosecco, we were in the heart of Venice - so near to everything, yet so quiet and restful. Each of the bedrroms was decorated and appointed to a very high standard. The Continental Breakfasts were superb. Essentially, I suppose, it has been a Venetian 'town house' of longstandiing. As a small, but very elegant, B&B, it has everything for the discerning visitor who wants that element of 'escape from the madding crowds' of St Mark's Square! Would we go back? Most definItely! Expensive? Probably, but then, isn't everything in Venice? Bloom is excellent value for money.
