Super close to train station! But no in-room WIFI!Posted Nov 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's quite a distance from the major tourist attractions. Maybe around 15 mins of walking. You won't mind the distance for the 1st or 2nd trip as there are always shops or nice building along the way. The 3rd trip would seem longer!

Wonderful Venice LocationPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Very convenient to train station and bus parking area for transfers. Wonderful starting/stopping point for cruise pre or post stays.
Location: Very easy to get to hotel and is right on beginning of grand canal. Note: Use a porter to get things to hotel for a fair price.
Wonderful little gem of a hotel. Loved the stay and staff were very friendly and helpful

Great hotel and near train stationPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Everything except the fact that I could not get WIFI in my room. You could only get it in the main lobby.
Cons: Put WIFI in rooms
Location: Near the train station, lots of shops and cafes near by.
My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel and the location. It was conveniently located near the train station which made it easier for us to transport our own luggage. If you have a lot of luggage and your hotel is further away from the train, you will be spending some serious money to have someone take your luggage to your hotel or you will be carrying it yourself which can be difficult if you have a lot of bridges to cross. There are these guys right outside of the train station willing to transport your luggage for you, but be prepared to pay! Hotel had a great breakfast buffet, very European feel and décor. Be prepared to walk a lot to get to the sites, such as Piazzo St. Marco (or St. Mark's Square) and Rialto Bridge. You also have to take a gondola ride although it is costly, they will all quote you 80 euros, although if you find a few just sitting around, you can definitely negotiate a better price. Also, no banks through out Italy exchange US dollars, you have to go to exchange shops, and they rip you off with an extra 12% (varies) fee. The US dollar is terrible here. We exchanged $500 American dollars for 315 euros, another example: if you withdraw $100 euros from an ATM, approx. $140 comes out of your account in the US, plus our bank also charged an additional fee of $5. BE PREPARED!

Amazing view for an affordable pricePosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: We stayed on the top floor with access to the balcony which overlooks to the Canal Grande. This view made it worthe every penny.
Cons: One elevator and it's tiny. Two people can barely squeeze in with their luggage.
Location: Close to public transportation (rail, bus and water). Close to the fish and produce markets as well as cheaper souveners.
Beautiful hotel only steps away from the train station and a short walk to the public buses. The murano glass chandeliers and windows made it all the more authentic of an Italian hotel. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. The rooms have a wonderful authentic feel and very lovely.

Nice Hotel, Conveniant LocationPosted Oct 24, 2013
Cons: Carpet in rooms should be changed, it was tore.
This hotel is 2 min walk from the Santa Lucia train station. There is water bus stop once you step out of the hotel. It is far away from San Marco Square, but still considered in the busy side of Venice. There are three restaurants around the hotel and a small grocery store. It is located in the beginning of a very busy shopping street. The staff is nice and cheerful. Breakfast is simple and ok, nothing fancy. The rooms has a Venetian style, which I liked a lot. It made me enjoy my stay more.

Pros: Excellent location right next to Plaza di Roma. The vaporeto is right outside the hotel to get anywhere in Venice. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice for its location and price point.

Very Comfortable and Very VenetianPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Just about everything. They allowed us to check in early to make us comfortable.
Cons: The WIFI is too slow but that is like everywhere else.
Location: Everything to do or see in Venice is close or accessable.
The Bellini has great amenities and is quintessentially European and Venetian. Location is great right near all transportation and right on the Grand canal. The breakfest was included and very good with large variety and abundanza. The staff speak English and are pleasant and efficient. They all know who you are the first day of your stay. Beautiful rooms and my fiancee loved the bed sheets

my 20th anniversaryPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: great location, only a few steps from St.Lucia train station and water bus stops and very professional staffs
Cons: outdated elevator
Location: the best location of Venezia enables you to come back safely by walk even after midnight
I asked hotel staffs a rose bouquet and a bottle of champagne, but surprisingly they prepared them as well as a fruit basket. My wife was so much impressed and it was one of the best anniversary travel in my life. Thanks a lot, Boscolo staffs !
