The Duodo palace was the perfect place to stay to visit all the main attractions in Venice. It is centrally placed between San Marco and Rialto Bridge and was reasonably easy to locate after arriving by water bus from the airport. The hotel is in a quiet little square just off the main thoroughfare. The reception staff were very helpful and able to give us lots of information on places to visit. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was continental and self service with the option of having a cooked breakfast at extra cost. We found the continental to be quite sufficient and it was regularly freshly restocked.
All in all we had a wonderful time both at the hotel and in Venice City and would certainly recommend this as an excellent holiday destination!

I thought the cost of the private transfer was expensive until we were met at the airport straight onto a private taxi
straight to the private water taxi onto the hotel where we were met by a couple of the staff to take our luggage given drinks whilst our bags were taken up to our room, where a ice bucket with a bottle of proscceco for our anniversary was in our luxurious room in the annex.
breakfast was amazing besides our room we had a downstairs lounge and rooftop terrace and the staff was just the best we also met one of the owners who introduced himself and sent up 2 drinks and snacks up to the terrace.

With so many hotels to choose from in Venice it's not easy picking a Hotel. If you want a luxurious stay that is only five minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square this is the Hotel for you. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble and they all speak very good English.
When I'm away I do like a cooked breakfast and that was available too!
In summary I can't fault this hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in the beautiful city of Venice.

This was a great hotel in a good location. It is within walking distance of Piazzale Roma and was easy to find. There is a nearby waterstop if you get tired of walking. We were given an upgrade to a Junior Suite so there was plenty of space for myself, husband and teenage daughter. A canal view room is a must for those that enjoy people watching but it can be a little noisy in the mornings.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast and seating both inside and out in the garden.
We stayed for 4 nights.

When we arrived at the hotel we discovered that the hotel had assigned us a Junior Suite and not the Exclusive Suite Gran Canal that appeared on the confirmation I received from Expedia. I presented the documents to the front desk manager and luckily the room we had requested was available.
There seems to be a disconnect between your website and what the hotel considers an Executive Suite perhaps a better description from Expedia that matches the hotel's published room rate and type will eliminate the confusion we found. The hotel was not at fault, they tried very hard to accommodate our needs.
