We were made very welcomePosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Beautiful hotel with lovely furnishings and helpful staff
Cons: We did not have any tea/coffee making facilities in the room and it was difficult to get a drink locally.
Location: The Lido is a great location and there are plenty of rstuarants and facilities a short bus ride from the hotel.
The hotel was further out from Venice than we expected however there is an excellent bus service and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful which made up for this. The peaceful location of the hotel was great after the crowds of Venice.

Pros: Location. Location. Location. .
Very nice and quiet. Just hop on the bus. Venice only 20 minutes away. Top place to stay.

A Hidden GemPosted Aug 23, 2013
A converted medieval merchants house complete with Murano glass chandeliers situated in a quiet square in the oldest village on the Lido. A bit out of the way but there is a bus every 10 minutes to the vaporetto terminal and the main shopping area. If you want a complete escape this is the place for you.

Great spot away from crowds of VenicePosted Jun 25, 2013
Pros: Very pretty building, quiet location, great staff.
Cons: Room was a teeny bit musty smelling.
Location: Good location if you are most interested in quiet and beach and don't mind riding the bus.
This is a really great hotel for the price. Very comfortable, beautiful and clean. One thing to note is that it is about a 20 minute bus ride from the main section of Lido. This was easily accessible by bus but it is a little off the beaten path. A plus is its very quiet but that could be a negative if you are looking for more action. It's about a 10 or 15 minute bus ride from a great beach that has chairs and umbrellas to rent, a snack shop and a cute little bar. From hotel to Venice is about 25 minutes. Bus to water bus. I loved coming back to beautiful less crowded Lido after walking through the crowds of Venice. It's a nice contrast and a great escape. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
