San Palo location...

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Good price for location . Had a large 1st floor room . Nice complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Had fan in room but no air conditioning. Would have been more comfortable with air.
Location: Central location, near restaurants, shopping and water boats. Close to Rialto Bridge and restaurants on the grand canal. Walked everywhere...........
Stayed in Venice for 3 days after getting off a 12 day cruise.Hotel located to all shops, restaurants, water stops. Reasonable pricing compared to San Marco area. Had a great time and would stay at this hotel again next time I visit this beautiful city. Took city walking tour, gondola ride, tour of 3 islands. Had great pizza and gelato.

near to the Rialto Bridge

Posted Feb 26, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is quite near to the Rialto Bridge, it's quiet and very cozy in winter. The staff were kind and very helpfull with the information they provided for Venice and the breakfust was enough. I'd like to stay at the hotel again if I have the chance.

정말 굿!

Posted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels

Venice in winter

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: If you can not negotiate stairs you should know that there is no lift at the hotel.
Location: Very close to shopping, Rialto Bridge, vaporetto service, St. Mark's Square, restaurants.
This hotel was an excellent choice for our two day stay. Once you negotiate the directions the location has a canal view, off the main pedestrian walk way so is very quiet, and the location is central to whatever you would want to do, as a tourist, in Venice. This is a gem. The proprietors are hard working, on site and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and warm on those cold winter Venice nights. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend the Ca Arco Antico as a place to stay in Venice.

Good hotel, terrible internet

Posted Jan 10, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is good and location is good. But there is no joke about the internet being bad, I mean internet is practically not working... and nowadays it is unacceptable for any hotel to provide that kind of internet, it is a big minus because it gives a big disadvantage to make research at night about the city, to look for the next reservation during the trip, to look for info, etc. If you stay in this hotel you can forget about the internet.... Besides of that the service of the people is quite good, the hotel facilities are quite old but I guess that is the standard in Venice...

Nice hotel in Venice near Campo San Polo

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Cons: Please serve good proper coffee at breakfast so easily available in Italy, not instant coffee.
Hotel is nice, an old building but well keep. It is a decent walk from the station, but worth it even with the bags to drag along. Keep in mind that the hotel reception closes at 7pm. Best to arrive earlier. Hotel management is aware of possible inconvenience this may cause. One gripe is the instant coffee served at breakfast. This is inexcusable in Italy.
