Loved the hotel suite. Being VIP member they gave us an upgrade. Breakfast quality was top class. Only issue was there is no Central AC and even in March room was really hot. Front desk was rude when asked for help. First they denied that room being hot and I had to tell them what the reading says then the guy rudely said we can’t do anything about it and hung up. We opened the windows and it cooled down the room. Guy was not patient enough to give that simple suggestion. But other than that the room was great and the stay was nice 👍

"Hotel Ca' Dei Conti in Venice, Italy, is an exceptional value-for-money choice, particularly suited for tourists. Its location is unbeatable, being within walking distance from major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Our stay in a quadruple room with two double beds was outstanding, easily one of the best accommodations for a party of four. Our room had two sections - a nice sitting area with pantry and cooking range with refrigerator followed by a massive bedroom that could easily fit 6 queen beds. The room's cleanliness, spaciousness, and maintenance were top-notch, meeting even the high standards of my family, who are particularly meticulous about cleanliness. The front desk staff (Mr. John) deserve special mention for their constant warmth and readiness to assist guests, enhancing our overall experience. Our price included breakfast which included both hot and cold items with freshly made cappuccino and lattes. Do not be deceived by the hotel's modest exterior or compact lobby. For tourists, the essential factors are convenience, cleanliness, and comfort - the '3 Cs.' On these criteria, Hotel Market Urban scores a perfect 10/10. This establishment truly understands and delivers on the needs of its guests."

Like: It’s near the attractions. Dislike: The bearded receptionist is not tourist-friendly. He was probably too condescending or racist. He should be thought how to be polite to people. While speaking with us, I heard him mention the word “puta” to the other receptionist. I hope it doesn’t mean the same in Spanish. The other guys were nice.

Went as a solo traveller stayed in new annex building just round corner from main hotel room was clean bathroom was more than ample and had bedroom at split level which was great windows overlooking the canal. Breakfast had some hot and cold options and good coffee couldn’t ask for more. Had a great stay staff were very attentive and friendly, close to at marks and great restaurants and shops. Felt very safe and well looked after. Would definitely plan to come back again. 😊

Would rate 2.5 stars
Pros: location, friendly staff cons: building was too rustic and had a poor layout. First floor rooms open directly to lobby. Second floor rooms open directly to dining room. Third floor rooms are best. Rooms in the attic have angled ceilings that are challenging for people 6 ft tall and claustrophobic. We had two rooms and, even with air conditioning at full blast, the temperature seemed to be a constant 80 degrees and that made it more difficult to fall asleep at night. Granted, it was mid-July and 100 degrees outside, but the other 4-star hotels we stayed at in Italy had excellent air conditioning. Between the layout, the a/c, and the tiny showers, we would rate this more like a 2.5-3.0 stars, depending on the room you get. Again, the staff is amazing, so I want to be clear that it's only the physical property that wasn't our favorite.

The property was very outdate, the mattresses were uncomfortable, no air conditioning (DESPITE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE EXPEDIA PAGE that indeed there was A/C), dusty/moldy smell in the room, we had bug bites everywhere after the first night. We could not stand another nigth there, we left the next day to another hotel.

Dear Mrs. Olivia, we are sorry for your review and we will do our best to improve our service. Please note that a/c is absolutely working (you have aremote controller in the room). Refer to mosquitos we have periodically service but in Venice it is possible that if the windows are open some mosquitos enter in the room.

Lovely traditional Venetian hotel, we were given a room in the annex first of all, although we wanted to stay in the actual hotel. We requested a change of room, John on reception was so helpful and understanding, went out of his way to accommodate us and arranged a change of room with minimal disruption to us. Great customer service. Nice breakfast with a varied choice.

I booked a two bedroom suite, with canal views , as we have two teenage kids. We were put into a single room with double bed and two sofa beds. After complaining we were moved into a one bed suit, with a canal view if you hung out of the window. We got no refund, and offered a bottle of prosecco, we don't even drink prosecco. The booking was mis sold, hotel blamed hotels.com system.

Nice hotel. Comfy beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Breakfast was only okay. Depending on how you get here, several bridges have to be crossed with luggage to reach the hotel.
