Stunning hotel in a great location

Posted Sep 13, 2014
We had a fantastic trip to Venice and Ca' Pisani was wonderful. We especially enjoyed a complimentary trip to Murano and a glass blowing factory. We will definitely stay here again and I would thoroughly recommend it. The staff were also extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Good neighbourhood close to water transport.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The area, and the service. The wine bare and seats and tables out the front are in an easy part of Venice and easy to enjoy a quiet wine and snack.
Cons: As previously, the Wi Fi was the only issue as we had daughters travelling separately and we were anxious in not being able to contact them at times.
Location: Although all the main attractions were nearby it was good enough just sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was very busy on all the bridges.
The staff were polite and helpful, with only our issues in communicating our requirements. The room we occupied had excellent clothes storage ( walk in robes and plenty of drawer space). The only thing lacking was information of how to get to various attractions and transport. We had to trace our way around on one of the generic maps, however a directional line on the maps would assist those non Italian speaking tourists. To get to the main attractions and closest facilities. Wi fi connection was an issue, however this seems to be the fault of the provider not the hotel as they also had trouble accepting our check out amount electronically. Be mindful that all the canal crossings are busy between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm and would try to avoid these times. Suggest white wine out front of the hotel at this time. This may also need to promoted as a "happy hour" (or two) with the hotel.

Very good hotel

Posted Aug 8, 2014
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff are very friendly. They have upgraded my room when I arrived. Also the rooms are good and the hotel is located in the heart of Venice. I would definitely come back here if I ever visit Venice again.

very good hotel near enough to all attractions

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Quiet, but still near to all attractions, easy to get around, and a very good quality hotel.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in room, instead of corridor.
Location: All attractions near by or easy to get to from this location (st marks, rialto, grand canal etc.).
This is a very good small hotel situated far enough away from crowds, but near enough to all attractions and very good location to get around. Staff are very good and attentive without being overbearing. Good transport links (water buses, taxis and gondolas), easy access over grand canal on the academia bridge (50yds away). (official 4). Rooms are of high quality, we had a junior suite, which had everything would expect of a 5 star hotel. Next time in Venice, this will be a definite choice. Would recommend this hotel.

Second Stay Even Better than First

Posted Jun 30, 2014
This is a small but very modern hotel whose accommodations and location (very near both the Academia and Zattare vaporetto stops) are excellent. Very good breakfasts, great staff, and away from the maddening crowds of "boat people" near Plaza San Marco, yet just a stop or two away by vaporetto or a modest walk over the Academia Bridge.

The best hotel in the best location!

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: A hidden jewel in the perfect quiet location.
Location: My husband and I enjoyed walking around our neighborhood where you can find the best restaurants and shops. We experienced the "real" Venice.
We were pleasantly surprised by the "modernity" and the comfort of the hotel. It is located on the Dorsoduro side, away from the San Marco crowds, but close enough to the main attractions because it is right next to the Academia bridge (to cross over the other side of Venice).
