Quaint

Posted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a nice location, not too far from the train station. The rooms have a kettle and a tiny refrigerator. In October, the rooms on the third floor were rather stuffy and the breakfast room was uncomfortably warm. There is no real climate control. Room 24 is extremely small and very noisy, with the sound or rushing water all night from the bathrooms on higher floors - avoid if possible! Save money somewhere else.

Hotel Ca San Polo

Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Decent Location, Friendly Staff
Cons: Shower was a bit small..however I think you expect this in Europe
Location: Good Location. Close to historic landmarks
Hotel experience was fine. Small little hotel in Sestiere San Polo. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Close walking distance to Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square. Also 10 to 15 minutes walking to Train Station.

Great option

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Not too far of a walk from the train station and close to the water bus. It's about 10-20 minutes from San Marco sq, which is good because its close enough to get to very easily but far enough from the crowds. Hotel staff gave us a recommendation for restaurants. The rooms are very cute and clean.

Clean and tidy with friendly staff

First impression from the outside was that it looked rather dodgy, but then all the hotels in Venice look a bit rough on the inside. Rather cramped inside but again that's the case with everything in Venice. Hotel staff were very friendly and all spoke English. Rooms nicely decorated and very clean. Substantial breakfast too. Location is pretty good, about half way between the train station and Piazza San Marco.
