Cheap alternative close to VenicePosted Oct 13, 2014
I would recommend this place for people on budget. The best way to get to the town is a public transport, which is near by ( bus number 6). It will take you to piazza del Roma straightaway and very quick. The last bus is around 23.30. If you are out of season, there are only couple shuttle buses from camping, the last one back is around 9 and doesn't take you even to piazza del Roma but you have to change for "people mover" and pay 1.50 euro each way.

VERY SATISFIEDPosted Oct 11, 2014
Place is about 10 Kilometers from the islands but for what you pay and the services available, who cares! This place was a nice budget accommodation with almost anything you'd want. Small market on the premises was well stocked and priced fairly. Rooms are OK for 2 if all you want is an inexpensive base to operate from. We took the local bus to Venezia every day for 1.6 Euro each. Once you know the way it's a piece of cake. We even took the locall bus to the Rizzardi stop and used the pedestrian underpass to the train station. Bus 6 to and from Venezia and bus 66 from Trieste stop to Rizzardi. Tip: instead of going to the stop that the camp mao sends you to, go left around the circle and go down to the Trieste stop. This is the stop before the one everyone else is waiting at. Tip 2: Buy Margherita pizza for 4.5 Euro at the corner where you turn to go back towards the campground. Campground restaurant charges 8 Euro for the same thing.

Great place to stay in Venice!Posted Oct 8, 2014
This was a great little place, and so cheap for Venice! We loved the idea of being in a caravan but with the comforts of a hotel. The room was so clean, and the shower was great. Great facilities on the site, and very reasonably priced food and drinks. Good shuttle service into the city centre too. Only little thing is that it would be nice to have somewhere with sofas etc to sit in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Good price and great place for youth.Posted Oct 6, 2014
Far from the main island but they have shuttle to there. It's so close to the high way and easy to find the place if you are driving. But it's kind of noisy. And the internet connections are horrible.

Nice place but far from mestre stationPosted Sep 28, 2014
Very far from the nearest bus stop. It is about 20 mins from bus stop or about 30 minutes from tram stop. But worth to stay as really cheap.

Good location, nice pool and onsite restaurant.Posted Aug 2, 2014
Cons: They need bath mats.
Location: It is a short 15min bus ride or shuttle to Venice
Great value for the money. We are a family of 5 and the Chalet worked well for us.

Excellent food & customer service.Posted Jul 20, 2014
The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and patient. The café was an excellent value for the money. The food was delicious ... breakfast, lunch and dinner were all equally excellent. The accommodations were also very good for the price. There were quite a few activities for the younger kids and the pool was great. The only downside is that it is somewhat disconnected from the main centers of Venice and walking and buses is required. The camp shuttle system does not work well for larger groups of visitors. Otherwise I would highly recommend this fun and well equipped camping facility to visitors of all ages.

No internet!Posted Jul 16, 2014
Cons: internet, phones they could answer and friendlier receptionist
Okay hotel but they don't answer their phone which forces you to take a taxi, internet did not work at all the whole time we were there it appears not to work only on iphones. Location too far from Venice center so you can't plan to stay out past 11 which sucks and forces to go to the local bar at the hotel. Very loud you won't be able to to sleep because the rooms are like tents you can hear anything in the next room. If you like comfort do not stay.
