3 days in Venice

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable bed.
Cons: Nothing in particular, although the reference to the rooftop terrace was misleading.
Location: Handy for all the sites
Comfortable and very convenient both for arrival/departure and for access to the centre of Venice.

Located close to St. Mark's and Rialto

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Great location, located close to St. Mark's, shopping, many restaurants, and water taxis, though not on the canal if that is what you are looking for. The brother and sister at reception were wonderful - polite and helpful. The room was a good size for a family of four and very clean and comfortable. Quiet to sleep. Little tricky to find, but their directions on the website were great.

Superb location!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Location was fantastic. Very near the Rialto stop & in the heart of the shopping area. Receptionist was really very helpful with our queries.
Room was really spacious & clean. Only problem was that there are no elevators & our room was on the 3rd floor. But other than that, we really love the location & the helpful staff at the check-in counter. There was even a fridge at the reception area where we can get bottled drinks at relatively cheaper prices from the convenience stores in Venice. So, it was really great to just grab a few bottles before we head out into the hot summer sun. There are also biscuits, coffee & tea & electric kettle in the room, which are foc. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Venice the next time.

Quaint lodging

This hotel was small and cute. Not a very big room, but it was enjoyable. Very friendly front desk staff. Refreshments in the hotel. Good location that is close to many other things.

Bed without breakfast

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: Needs tv and some breakfast other than pot of coffee in room.
Location: Nearb st Marks square.
This is a bed and breakfast but no breakfast or TV. Humble and clean. Price is great if you compare with hotels on canal. Hard to find hotel. Small sign on door. Staff helpful. Good free wi-fi.

Great hotel centrally located

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: The hotel was in a great location, 2 minutes walk from St Marks Square in one direction and the Rialto bridge in the other.
Location: There are many shops, bars and restaurants within minutes in all directions
The owners were extremely helpful and answered all our questions we asked about the local area. We were even able to check in a couple of hours early.

Good central bed and breakfast

Posted Mar 4, 2014
This b and b is close to San Marco and Rialto, located down a narrow alley. A little difficult to find so a good map helps. The room was extremely clean and fully tidied each day. Breakfast is very simple ( a piece of fruit cake and a croissant) so more breakfast is usually required in local cafes. The room was quiet and heating kept the room warm. Venice is expensive and this is no exception, but it is cheaper than hotels and offers better value for money. We would stay here again.
