Great location but rather uncomfortable

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Great location.
Cons: the comfort of the bed and the breakfast experience
Location: St. Mark's square is a two minute walk and 5min away is the Rialto bridge
Though the location was great, the room comfort was far from acceptable. The bed had a lump in the middle and the hot water was gone in 5min. The breakfast was left out (with perishables) after 1pm and the next morning we noticed flies on all the food, which can be avoided by simply covering it.

Difficult and uncomfortable

You have to check in and out st location different from where you stay. Mattress on bed worst I've ever experienced. Friendly staff when you finally meet them, but not enough to overcome issues above.

Solid, appropriately priced hotel.

Location: The plaza of San Marco is seconds away. There are tons of restaurants and shopping near by. Less than five minutes from the canal shuttle.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, helpful bilingual staff. Great location, if not a bit loud. Breakfast just outside the bedroom door which was very convenient. Great experience in the city and the hotel. Highly recommend. Simple, affordable and convenient.

If it had a reception close to it, I'd give it 5.

Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy rooms and dining area. Interesting building. And a perfect location. If the reception was at the same location, I'd rate it 5.

Don't bother staying here

The address that Expedia gives you isn't where you check in. Beware.

Nice room. Good Location

Breakfast buffet just adequate as very small amount of food available and as room was remote no one there to provide service if something ran out which was quite often.

Venice May 2012

We stayed 1 night only and were very happy with the hotel. Dont forget to get you key from Hotel Luca as the Casa Dolce has no reception. The feeling of the hotel is as you were resident of Venice. We highly recommend it.
