Great hotel for authentic and peaceful stay VenicePosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Location, courtyard, quiet
Location: Close to Rialto bridge, actv stop and aquilina stop, great for seeing all over Venice
Authentic accommodation, friendly and helpful. Garden room and courtyard lovely. Personal and quaint, so much nicer for a stay in Venice than a chain or big hotel. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Very peaceful but close to all the sights. The recommended restaurant was authentic, great food and made a fuss for my daughter birthday.

Hidden Gem near Rialto bridgePosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: proximity to everything
Cons: difficult to find
Location: near Rialto bridge
A wonderful b & b that is close to the Rialto bridge yet away from the hustle and bustle located on a quiet street with a beautiful courtyard. This place is almost impossible to find and after circling the area for 45 min with a GPS we ended up calling the B&B itself and the caretaker was friendly and met us at the closest square and lead us to our B&B. the room was really spacious with a kitchenette and good size bathroom with shower and plenty of water pressure. The only glitch was that the water doesn't heat up very well when the air conditioner is on..something we figured out by trial and error. Nevertheless, the room was plenty large for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). The vaporetto was only a 2 min. walk away. Breakfast was continental and by request, so you just tell the hostess what you want and she makes it happen. We asked for juice and coffee, cereal and pastries and that morning, she personally went to a local baker to get a basket full of fresh pastries. Only downside was the windows were very thin and so you can hear Italian voices talking til ~2am as the courtyard is surrounded by other apts and most have their windows wide open because of the summer heat.

We picked Corte 1321 for it's central location and for it's quality, and it did not disappoint. The B&B is probably 100 meters from a vaporetto stop so it was easy to get to. Our room was nicely furnished and very clean, with windows overlooking the central courtyard of the building, so it was also very quiet. Breakfast is served in the courtyard which is a beautiful way to start a day -- on rainy days (we had one) the breakfast is brought to the room. Rialto Bridge is a short walk away, and from there San Marco is easily accessible. We bought a vaproetto pass so we often rode one way and walked the other, a great way to enjoy the canal and also the fastinating back streets. One of the main shopping streets is only a block away, and there were several lovely restaurants just around the corner from the B&B. Venice is one city we would love to return to, and we would definitely stay at Corte 1321 again. One word of caution -- the B&B is around a corner off a back street and is absolutely impossible to find without the detailed directions on the B&B website - be sure to get them .

A home away from homePosted Nov 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was my second time in Venice. I loved it more due to the wonderful hotel, wish had the most perfect hostess, Maria. The room was big, and clean, in the beginning the covers were a bit dusty, but after talking with Maria, she arranged for us a nice dust-free duvet. The breakfast was very good and the feel of home was always present, Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Will definitely came back.....

Perfect B&BPosted Jul 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful stay at Corte 1321. A little hard to find, initially. But, I imagine many addresses in Venice are hard to find. The location was perfect--close to the Rialto bridge--about a 5 minute walk and then only a 15 minute walk to St. Mark's. We walked everywhere from the hotel. It's quiet and not as busy as some other areas. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. We enjoyed the courtyard immensely. Our hosts were helpful and informative and gave us lots of useful information as well as Venetian history. Can't say enough good things.

Great spot to see all of Venice!Posted May 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hard to find but once you learn your way around a perfect location. Close, but not too close to the Rialto Bridge and Market. Close to water bus stations and plenty of good restaurants away from the tourist strip where the prices are double. Staff was awesome! Very helpful and courteous.

A little bit of heavenPosted Apr 24, 2012
My husband and I stayed for two nights and had a lovely time, we had a wonderful room that overlooked the very pretty courtyard and our on-suite overlooked a small canal. The B& B was close to the centre of things, easy walking to St. Marks Square and close to a waterbus stop ( about 3 min walk) on the Grand Canal great for getting around. Maria the lady in charge was very friendly and very helpful with good places to eat and how to get around, nothing was to much trouble, she helped make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely go there again.

Great B&B in heart of VenicePosted Jun 29, 2011 on Hotels.com
If you can find it - it is worth it! The streets of Venice are hard enough, but this gem of a B&B was tucked away behind a campo in the heart of the San Palo district. Hint: take the path next to the ATM. Charming courtyard, 4 very private suites and modern baths in an old palace right on the canal. We were treated very well and met some other nice guests. We had two kids, but they are good travelers and there were no issues. Highly recommend!
