Overall....Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Staff at the hotel was extremely helpful at providing information about the location of Mestre, Venice, Bus system etc...
Cons: Breakfast was complete and excellent although coffee could be improved (this is a matter of personal taste...)
Location: Very well located in the vicinity of Venice. Easy access to direct bus to Venice ( 10 min. ) and Marco Polo airport ( 15 min.).
Our two night experience was excellent. Room was comfortable with 'state of the art' A\C Unit. There was parking at the hotel not often easy to find in these cities.

This hotel is reasonably priced, clean, and convenient to Venice, though not IN Venice. It is a 10 or at most 15 minute bus ride. The bus stop is a two minute walk to hotel. Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staffPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: We liked the staff most of all, but the accommodations were good, as well.
Location: Delle Rose is within easy walking distance of two key bus stops, the one into Venice and the one to the airport.
Delle Rose is in Mestre, about a 15-minute bus ride from Venice. It is a small hotel, tucked away on a side street, but is a good and affordable place to stay if you can't manage the high prices in Venice. The rooms in Delle Rose are small, as they are everywhere in Europe, but they are clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is included and it offers many choices, from meat and cheese to yogurt to chocolate croissants. The best part, though, is the staff. They speak English and could not be more friendly or helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Accommodation option for VenicePosted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and i wanted a more affordable option for visiting Venice, so considered mestre as a base. This hotel is fairly basic, and our tv didn't work, but it was clean, the room was a good size, the staff were really helpful, and the location was perfect for taking the ACTV bus into Venice. It's based in an elderly neighbourhood so there's not too many attractions around, but that's fine when the focus is Venice. Would recommend it as an affordable option.

visiting Venice and surrounding areaPosted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Super location for actv city bus 15 arr/dep for Marco Polo airport - 20 min. and Treviso - 40 min. Bus stop at the corner. Handily located to nbr 12 to piazzale Roma (Venice's bus station) - 15 min. Grocery store at the top of the street -2 min. Close proximity to Padua and Vicenza. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom & shower with tub and a private terrace. Breakfast was standard continental. Hotel clerks were helpful in providing information about Venice and Mestre. Thanks again to the concierge for forwarding some forgotten luggage to our onward hotel destination.

Great place to stay if visiting VenicePosted May 15, 2014
This was a wonderful family-run hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast served was wonderful and fresh. There is a bus ine block away that takes you right into Venice in 20 minutes. I would go back again!

Staff was greatPosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was a little off the beaten path from restaurants etc but a short walk got you to the bus stop for a 10 min ride into the island of Venice so it wasn't a big deal for us. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly and even packed us a to-go breakfast as we had to leave at 4:30am the morning we checked out.

really nice hotel and staffPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 3 nights in total and really enjoyed our stay. Staff really friendly and always on hand to help. Location of hotel ideal as out of busy Venice but only a short 10 trip to centre. Really enjoyed
