Nice place to stay

Posted Jul 3, 2014
It's a hostel, so it can be a bit hit-and-miss for things like noise and interruptions through the night (depending how close you are to the door and things like that) but the things that were controllable were good. Very clean, nice enough staff. The showers are bit sketchy, there's no locks or anything, but people are usually very respectful.

Great location for a hostel

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Clean and friendly
Cons: New pool cue
Location: Located on second island great views. Good food all around.
Only 1 wee problem the name of the water bus stop required to get off at was not mentioned on anything I got. It is Zitella . Everything else was A fantastic experience. Great people, great place and great staff. I stayed for 1 week and took the train to Verona for day trip and Bassano del Grappa. Both only a couple of hours away and from Verona only 20 mins to Lake Garda.

Perfect hostel opposite St. Mark's

Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was located opposite St. Mark's Square and there were ferries running there all night. The view is beautiful in the morning. Staff were friendly and the hostel was very very clean.

Clean, Kind, Helpful, a little far away from the sights, but also quiet because of that.

Very good budget hostel

Clean, cool, very good standard, friendly staff, central location across the channel from the the big tourist crowds - but quick to cross over. Perfect. For being a hostel and sharing room with strangers, this was really okay..!!! Some things: I would prefer a more private bathroom for being undressed before or after a shower, - more than a glass wall in one room. There is a quite young atmosphere for someone 30+ but it's fine for any age - and hey, it's a hostel.

Great for a single traveler.

Pros: The location coupled with a 3 day bus park make for an ideal way to explore Venice.
Cons: In a room of thirteen there's always gonna be some idiot that makes the experience less pleasant for everyone else.
Location: Perfect.
A nice enough hostel. Situated no distance at all from a bus stop that's two minutes away from the main island of Venice. I found this location to be perfect. Adequate food, good bar and communal area. Free wifi that's actually perfectly usable. Decent showers that are pretty well keep for how many people are using them. Beds area comfortable and rooms are air conditioned so you won't overheat at night. Obviously the biggest factor will be who you share a room with and that'll be pot luck. My stay was fine and I met some nice people but not everyone knows how to live in a shared room. Little things like letting the door slam and having alarms set at 0300 that you don't even get up to. Not huge deals but just little annoyances that are of course out of anyone's control.
