Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Only issue was the wifi which was spotty due to problems beyond the hotel's control. Otherwise the hotel was perfect for our visit.

nice family room

Posted Jul 9, 2014
We booked a family room and were positively surprised that we had a separate bedroom for the kids. Our room had a (small) bathroom, one double bed in one room and a nice pullout sofa in a separate room. The hotel is in a quiet location. Nothing is really that far in Venice but the hotel is closer to the train station than to the main tourist attraction. I personally like that part of Venice more as there are some nice non-tourist-trap restaurants close by. A COOP supermarket is 1 min from the hotel. Pros: VERY spacious (especially for Venice). good breakfast, very friendly staff, quiet location Cons:the internet service is so slow that it becomes unusable at times. When many other guests are using the service you often get disconnected and the speed is reduced to a crawl. If the hotel is empty it works fine. Everybody else had the same problem.

Business Trip

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The Hotel is quite close to the train station and within walking distance of pretty much everything. Rooms are new and very well kept. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Plus, just around the corner there are good and reasonably priced spots where to have dinner. It was my best stay in Venice.

Great value for Venice

Posted Jun 18, 2014
hotel is located perfectly between train station and San Marco square. not to far to get to with a lot of luggae and not to far to walk to see the main attractions. This combined with nice clean rooms, friendly staff and price makes this hotel a great value.

Great Staff

Posted May 23, 2014
We were in Italy for 10 days (2 nights in Florence, 3 nights in Venice, and 4 nights in Rome). This was by far the best hotel experience that we had in Italy. The hotel was located about a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very cordial and professional. The complimentary breakfast was good. My one recommended improvement is the "free WIFI," which was slow and often unresponsive. Otherwise, it was a great trip.

Fabulous Venetian Palace!

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Stay in a real Venetian Palazzo! The rooms are beautiful - you really get what's in the photos, + spacious and clean (I loved indulging in a bath in our huge bathroom). The staff is super pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is included and good (no hot foods, but variety of cereal, pastries, yoghurt, bread, fruit, juice, coffee/tea). The location of the hotel is really great - super easy to reach from the airport (I recommend taking the Alilaguna boat (Arancio line) to San Stae - which is less than 5 min walk away, which is 27E R/T and 50 min, and well located - in a very quiet street, so no disturbances for sleeping, and not overrun w/ crowds, yet a 10min-15min walk to Rialto Bridge/St. Marco, and honestly anywhere else you want to go. Very close to the Ca' Pesaro, Natural History and Palazzo Mocenigo. Highly recommend this hotel! If you stay, there's an EXCELLENT restaurant they suggest: Antica Bessata - definitely worth trying out - high quality food. And spring for a gondola ride - well worth the 60-80E.

A Charming Hotel Close to Everything!

Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We have fully enjoyed this little charming European hotel. The room deco is beautiful and it's very clean. It's located in a residential neighborhood so it's very quite but also easy to walk to - just 10 minutes walk to the train station and Rialto Bridge. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is included, quality and variety of food is satisfying. We will come back to this hotel next time we visit Venice.

Excellent Customer Service

Posted Sep 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff in this hotel rate among the friendliest and most helpful we have ever met. They greeted us warmly, offered us our room early, sorted out a problem with the safe quickly, gave us maps and routes into the city and booked an evening meal for us. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Rialto and 25 minutes from Piazzo S. Marco. The waterbus stop at S.Stae is about 7 minutes walk away with a direct link to the airport but there are 2 small bridges on the way. Would use hotel if in Venice again.
