This hotel is an easy 10/10. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Spacious rooms and very clean. Located in the picturesque Piazza Ferretto; lots of options for food and drinks, plus great for just walking. A five-minute walk to the tram for Venezia. Will definitely stay at Sl Vivit again.

This joint is right on a beautiful promenade full of shopping and strolling down to the bus depot where you will be in Venice city in 20 minute for pennies. Surprisingly enough you won’t fond a better breakfast anywhere. Fresh variety, working auto cappuccino machines, pastry, eggs, breads and delicious jams.Get it!

The room had plenty of space. The staff was very friendly. The hotel location was right in the middle of the market square. The only thing I didn’t like is there are no parking spaces for your car. You have to walk about 5 minutes from the parking garage to the hotel.

Hotel is perfectly positioned on main square in Mestre, easy walk to train station, plenty to do around. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the water pressure great! Would recommend!

Very convenient to transportation into Venice. The shuttle to and from the airport costs a fee but is extremely good. Excellent breakfast. Only complaint was that the air conditioning in our room wasn't working well but we were so tired we hardly noticed. Due to poor connection, we missed our initial flight and arrived a day late and exhausted. Had we stayed 2 nights as planned, we would have asked them to fix the air conditioning.

Excellent location and convenient to get to train station and bus services. Property is clean and well maintained. We took the 2nd floor suite that was airy and bright. Staff were as friendly as they come. They were very kind to accept our extended checkout requests due to our late eveningflight. Breakfast was standard continental with a selection of local delicatessen. Good dining options near by like dapino mestre, fratelli la bufala is right behind the hotel. Overall a very good experience.

Staff was welcoming especially the lady in the reception. I didn’t get her name. Ended up getting a room facing the courtyard which had a great view and plenty of coffee, eating and shopping options. The breakfast was not bad for being included in the price. Plenty of bread, sweet and regular bread options available. Fresh fruit, yogurt options plentiful. As far as eggs go the only options were hard or soft boiled.

Excellent very enjoyable comfortable stay.
Very good welcoming, friendly, efficient yet professional customer service at check-in and all areas throughout the hotel. Was given a very comfortable room with large bed. Plenty of storage. Very clean room and en suite. Room was serviced every day to a very high standard. Our safety with covid restrictions were in place. Staff ensure that enough social distance between tables for breakfast. Also ensuring that social distance is maintained whilst quing for breakfast buffet. Breakfast selection was very good. Loved especially their freshly prepared fruit salad each morning. Loved being able to have breakfast outside on the roof terrace. Hope to return to this hotel soon again and have no hesitation in highly recommending to my friends.

We were quite disappointed as we had been in touch the hotel to reserve an upgrade which had been confirmed and reserved by email . When we arrived the receptionist had no record of it and apologised as the suite was no longer available . Our room was still very nice but like I said we were disappointed to not get our upgrade as agreed . Breakfast was enjoyable and it was a pleasant stay

Nice clean friendly hotel
The hotel is placed in a really good position in the town, close to bars and restaurants. The breakfast is very good. Decoration could do with an update but we found the room was very clean and the beds really comfortable. Travel into Venice was fairly easy and took about half hour by tram. The tram station is a couple of minutes walk away. If you buy a ticket from the hotel reception it covers as many tram rides and waterbuses in Venice that you need. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The staff on reception is what makes this hotel they are great and very helpfull. The location is very good in a quiet square with easy access to the tram into Venice. Some of the rooms 206 and 204 ( may be others) whilst clean require modernisation

The hotel was great. We came earlier than check in time and the administrator woman was very helpful and polite. Even thought it was very early she offered us a free upgrade to a room with a great view. The room was clean but the breakfast was a bit poor than expected but better than any other hotels we have stayed in Italy. Overall it was a beatiful hotel with a perfect location to stay with kids.

Frontdesk Giusepe is horrible! My first room, Lots of mosquitos-NO WIFI. Mr GIUSEPE did not care. Waited night shift, talked to a girl who changed my room. 2nd room wifi ok but NO A/C. Next day fnally they gave us to a decent room (stayed 6 nights). Two frontdesk GIRLS were very NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. Breakfest is greqt!! Location great. WIFI IS A BIG PROBLEM IN THIS HOTEL!!!!!

The furnishings in the rooms are basic and the beds and bedding safe not super-comfortable, however the hotel is located in the only safe and pretty area of Mestre, the historic piazza. The location is truly great and the staff very nice and helpful.

Lovely hotel
We were very happy with our stay - really convenient location, so simple to get to Venice. There are some nice restaurants around the hotel to have dinner; and the breakfast in the hotel was a good value (and they even had a good variety of vegan options which I wasn't really counting on!). If I was to visit Venice again one day, would stay in the same place!

The room was lovely. The bathroom was big and lovely. The. Reception girls were lovely and so helpful and polite. One man on the reception desk was not polite and he was quite rude. He went outside to smoke. He was not sociable and you didn’t feel like asking him anything because he had no social skills. He is in the wrong job.

It was great. It had a bit distance from the center of Venice. But clean and nice. It was convenient to access to Venice with tram or bus. I found that it would have been much more difficult if I stayed inside Venice because we have to carry own suite cases to destinations(no car or bus available inside Venice)

Unfortunately the temperature in our room was 26 degrees day and night. We could not get the temperature down even though we changed the settings. It was very uncomfortable at night. Also even though fresh coffees were being made for staff visitors had to use the coffee machine. The coffee was horrible. The cappuccino was all mostly milk . You couldn’t taste the coffee. I would have paid for a proper coffee but the breakfast lady with short dark hair said I had to use the diy coffee machine!

Only negative is that the taxi cannot access the hotel, it has to stop about 200 meters away and you have to walk there Very convenient to Venice by tram but dont assume restaurants in Mestre are cheaper than Venice. Watch out for cover charge, which is a ripoff
