Pros: Convenience to Ferrovia (Railway station) and Vaporetto stops. Away from the hordes around St Mark's square Local restaurants
Cons: WiFi coverage in rooms Breakfast Decoration
Location: 5 mins walk from Ferrovia Just round the corner from Vaporetto stop Riva de Biasio Local restaurants more authentic and less busy
Venice is an expensive place to stay and travelling on business on a budget I found this little hotel for a short stay. It looked good on the web, but I was a bit disappointed when I got there. The receptionist when I arrived spoke no English at all (though I shouldnt really complain - I was in Italy after all). A second receptionist (? the owner) was in attendance later however, and she spoke good English. It is a small place with steep stairs and is a bit dark and gloomy. The room was in need of redecoration, but it was a good size and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable enough and I slept fine. It was not ideal for a business trip as the WiFi wasnt accessible in the room, but it was there in the "bar" - which was really a 2-seater table on the landing and if you sat on the stairs. I coped fine once I had worked out where the good signal was... Breakfast was a bit inconvenient as you had to pre-book a time and so if you woke up early with jet-lag (as I did) you couldn't change your plans and get an early coffee... The food offered at Breakfast was minimal...

An okay hotelPosted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were glad that we were on the first level just had to go up one small flight of stairs carrying our suitcases. There was no breakfast available. Majority of the staff cannot speak English but that's okay they made every effort to attempt to communicate with us and we had a good idea what they were saying After all we were guests in their culture and we should have learned their language. Air-conditioning in room worked very well ... room needs a few upgrades such as the shower had rust in corners and edges.

Location: Positioned to easily walk the entire isle of Venice
An average hotel only 10 minutes away from Venezia SL train station by walking. Not bad, not great.

Cons: Many possible improvements in a 3-star hotel
Location: Very close to transportation and the duomo.
Very nice no frills hotel. Adequate European breakfast. Pleasant staff if not overly gregarious, we enjoyed our stay

Good value for a short breakPosted Apr 26, 2013
Pros: Location near airport bus stop, rail station and Grand Canal but on a very quiet back street
The hotel was good value for money and ideal for a short break if you expect only to use it for sleeping and breakfast. We had a triple room which was across from the main entrance so we had our own front door, which we liked. The hotel location is very convenient for the airport buses and the rail station as well as the waterbuses on the Grand Canal and reasonably prices restaurants. Very quiet at night.

Although the facility was out dated, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff did not speak much English but was kind. The hotel was located close to the train, bus and water bus station, which made our trips easy.

Prepare for smallPosted Jun 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Venice is obviously a small old city. This hotel matches the surroundings perfectly. I actually felt like i was staying in someone's house more than a hotel. Yes there is no internet so bring your own. Understand that an Italian full breakfast is coffee of your choice and bread with butter and jam to spread. You will not need to loosen your belt when you are done. Also if you are planning to stay out late, get a front door key before you leave. Otherwise you are going to wake everyone in the hotel including the guests when you ring thee doorbell.
