Cost effective decent hotel with great breakfastPosted Nov 20, 2014
The space is well located. The room is small, but all are in Venice as is the bathroom. Im 5ft 2inches/120lbs and had a hard time showering. But all bathrooms are like this in Venice. Breakfast was great. Granola. Croissants, pattes, jams, yogurt, fruit, tarts, cheese, ham and cheese or spinach in a tortilla.

Will not stay againPosted Nov 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Bad: No reception within the building, its at next door on second floor. No lift, we have to carry heavy luggage up few floors. To entry the building, we have to ring the bell and wait for answer. They allocated the room for us just right within the breafast room and waked us in the morning, they promised to change room for the second night but never happen or mention. Wifi connection is very bad and always disconnected. Good: Clean and near to train station.

A great place to stay in Venice!Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: The location and staff.
Location: The location is perfect for exploring Venice. Nothing is too far.
We loved the location of the hotel. It was close enough to the train station, but far enough away to have a neighborhood feel to it. It was a great place to start exploring Venice! The staff was friendly and helpful.

Watch out !!! STEPS !!!Posted Oct 20, 2014
This hotel is just about steps !!! Most of the rooms are located on second or third floor... Not the best place to be for old people. You are at 30 mns by feet from the St Peter's place and the streets are very often very busy! So, if you like to walk, this is ok.

Great Placement, service, price, acceptable roomsPosted Oct 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
A hotel with small rooms, but comfortable. Bathroom was of good standard, plenty hot water, however at the top floor we had low height in the bathroom, so large scandinavians (my wife and I are more normal so it was OK..) might want to ask for rooms in lower floors. Breakfast was simple but acceptable and service was good. Compared to brand hotels price was very good, placement considered. As for placement it doesn't get much better. A great mix between short distance to Railroad, bus station (the wheely-kind) and water bus and everything you want of local food, architecture and show immediately outside the hotel. Also in Historical Venice there are no large distances to anything. a 30 min stroll will take you anywhere. Highly Recommended for people who like to walk, dine, and climb some stairs :-)
