Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Hotel was clean, spacious and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was fresh with moderate selection of food & drinks. Hotel is located close to bus stop ( bus goes every 15 minutes directly to Venice for 1.50 euro return). You can buy tickets at hotel if you wish. Train station and bus shuttle to airport, or outlet or other cities is short bus ride away or 20 minute walk. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shopping. Ventures in the street near by on Wednesdays & Fridays. They are worth checking out!

This hotel was really excellent value. The rooms are clean, nicely decorating, modern and quiet. Bed was comfortable, I liked the bathroom as well. It matched the picture from Hotels.com for the basic room we booked. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. There was always someone at the front desk to help us, they were also able to sell us bus tickets there so we could get to Venice island. You can then walk down the street 1-2 minutes and catch a bus straight to the island and back, really easy and convenient. You do need cash if you would like to buy bus tickets straight from the front desk, but if you only have credit card they can direct you to a nearby convenience store that can help you. I recommend staying here 😊

The staff here is so friendly… checking has never been simpler… parking on site.. and the cute little slippers are a great touch… we couldn’t be more happier… we are definitely recommending this hotel to all our friends…

Misleading photos. Photos from the Superior Triple Rooms used to advertise the Standard Triple Rooms. Received a radically different room than in the pictures, but the receptionist did not take any responsibility for the misleading advertising. After a 20-minute call with Hotels.com and useless talk with the receptionist, we finally got an updated room, per the one in the photos. It was a decent stay, but wish we were not seen as the black sheep for asking for what we paid for.

The customer service at the front desk was amazing. The welcoming we received made us feel at home. Rooms where nice and tidy breakfast was nice and so is the staff I have no complaints.

I initially booked this hotel for a week but ended up only staying here for the last 2 days of our stay (wanted to stay in Venice so I booked a hotel in the city). Even those 2 days were too long, the bathroom was completely dirty, water damage could be found all over with rotting floorboards surrounding the whole bathroom. The bed was two twin sized beds pushed together so there was a noticeable gap between it. Not to mention the stiffness of the beds themselves, it felt like sleeping on concrete. The staff was helpful enough but I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent location with bus service to Venice 2 blocks away, restaurants in close proximity and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good though it wasn’t included in our stay they offered it to us anyway. Very kind. Room was in good condition and bathroom looked new. Hotel is under external renovation so had no window view or ability to open window. Only damper. Easily accessed the train as well.

The worst crook hotel I never saw in my life
It’s the worst staff hotel I never saw in all my life!!! The hotel is well, restaurant and buses close to the hotel. The staff looks like friendly but they are crooks, be careful! They charged me too much price for the restaurant and I told them since last 10 July 2019 and every week I have to call back them to know what about my refund? And they tell me every time we will do that, but today still nothing! So I spend a lot of money to call back them every week, so I already lost more 80 euros to call back them!!! So I advice every body to never, never eat anything in their restaurant and check every bills they will give you (2 times) before paid anything! So I advice everybody to make your way to another hotel to avoid to be crooked like me!

Great location as its close to transport links to Venice and walking distance to the Mestre centre. Hotel was lovely and comfortable. Service was fantastic. Karim and Pino made me feel comfortable soon as i checked in. A real asset to this hotel. The only negative comment i would make is you cant get coffee in the afternoon but luckily there were places walking distance. Other than that i would come back again! :-)

Location is great and 5 mins walk to the the bus; room was kept clean; the buffets breakfast has good selections and great coffee!! Staff was friendly and helpful; However, wish the room has more hooks to hang stuff like towels etc ; and. Closed up shower door would have been great; not sure is. Standard design in Italy! As you shower water was seeping out of the stall!!

Slight adjustments and it’s a good stay.
In general service staff were brilliant especially the cleaning ladies but this was spoilt by two members of staff who were quite indifferent and almost rude. This was at check in and when my partner went to the desk on our first morning to say there was a smell coming out of our bathroom such that I had to step in (not that she can’t hold her own but we did not need the attention in the foyer) Also it would be good to inform guests before booking that there is construction at the hotel. We could not open the windows or see outside.

First big thing to say, that they don't tell you is there is extensive building work going on at this hotel. So its covered head to toe in scaffolding, with builders working right outside your window. I was on the 5th floor and could watch them as they walked past my window.They should warn you of this before you book. Not a great hotel to be honest. I would certainly recommend staying in Mestre to get into Venice as it is much cheaper and the transport links into Venice are good (and cheap), but this hotel is not a 4 star. It's old, tired basic. Compared to other places I stayed in Italy, the reception desk staff were pretty rude and unhelpful too which I have to say is different to every other Italian place I stayed in. If I revisited Venice again, I would look for an alternative hotel in Mestre.

Staff lovely but not enough of them. Toilet flush in our room broke twice so we had a water feature in the bathroom overnight. Bar man rarely at the bar so took for ever to get served. Breakfast ok. Bus stop next to hotel and number 2 bus runs every 10 minutes into Venice. Room very clean and bed comfortable. I would stay here again.

Apart from the scaffolding outside the inside of the hotel was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We were rained off on the Sunday which meant spending time in the hotel. Seemed a bit odd that one member of staff offered drinks from the bar but the other staff member refused? We were also disappointed with the breakfast on the Monday, having been pleased on the Saturday. The bread was stale, no sliced bread and the choice was really poor. Apart from those couple of issues the hotel is ideally placed for Venice, clean and provided nearly all of what we needed for the weekend.

Wonderful staff both during the day and at night. Beautiful resturant inside which was open for breakfast and dinner. Located in walking distance to everything and just a 15 minute bus ride into venice. Highly recommend staying at this hotel during your visit.

Great place to stay in Venice
Hotel was a short bus ride from the train station and the bus stop was just a block away. Our room was very clean and quiet however very small. Desk and bed were in the way when trying to enter and had to lift our luggage over both to even enter the room. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Hotel staff were very helpful with directions. Lovely patio area next to the bar was great to relax in after a long day of sightseeing.

This is perfect hotel, the people work in it, they’re so sweet and helpful! The breakfast is amazing! The bus to go to Venice is 100 meters from the Hotel and it take only 15 min. I loved my time in this hotel and I’ll come back and stay here again for sure! Thank you for everything!

Perfect Hotel if okay with no A/C
It is located in a convenient location where one can take a quick bus ride (bus # 2) from the train station. Also, take the same bus to the Venice island which was extremely convenient. The staff is very courteous. The room was quite spacious. The price was unbelievable. My only issue with the room was that there was no air-conditioning. The weather outside was quite warm (80 degrees Fahrenheit / 27 degrees Celsius) and the room was very hot. When I contacted the front desk, I got multiple different responses ranging from "There is a Italian law so we cannot turn the A/C on" to "The A/C is not working". But you could clearly tell that the A/C was working in the lobby. Overall the hotel was really good. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Venice and would recommend this hotel.

Great stay!!
We had a great stay at Hotel Apogia!! Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and mordern. Breakfast was excellent a lot of selections plus hot food. Location are great there is a # 2 bus that goes to centro Venice about 20 minutes and Mestro train station about 6 minutes. Will definitely come back again.
