Lovely small hotel in a quieter part of VenicePosted Sep 11, 2014
Although our room was small it was well appointed, clean and in a great location just 10 mins walk from St Marks Square. Staff were both efficient and friendly . Sadly the hotel does not have a restaurant but there are plenty of restaurants nearby - avoid ristorante carpaccio which is overpriced with awful food. Breakfast was simple but fine.

Hotel Buccintoro Makes Venice, Italy Vacation!Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Location Food Concierge service Room
Location: 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco, one-minute from the water taxi stop.
In this town, mobbed with Film Fest guests and seemingly every Europe vacationer, September, 2015, we found the Buccintoro a perfect location with superb amenities. About a ten-minute walk from Piazza San Marco, it is just the right amount of "secluded." Our view from the "Junior Suite with Lagoon View" was spectacular, and the room handsomely furnished and impeccably clean with all we look for in a beautiful hotel room. The reception desk manager/concierge knew all and quickly shared information re: restaurants, walking directions, no-cost hotel computer access and private boat to the airport. Breakfast was great, food aplenty, beautifully presented. This was our fourth visit to Venice over the years, and though the town is expensive, we felt we received fair value, there to celebrate my 75th birthday!

Excellent Boutique HotelPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Good location. Very comfortable and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: No nothing.
Location: Good location, approx 10 minute walk to St Marks Square and the Doges Palace. A Gondola ride on the canals is a must! Tea at the famous Florian Cafe!
Hotel Bucintoro is an excellent hotel to stay and tour Venice and the surrounding islands. It's located near the water buses which take you to whatever Island or sight seeing location you wish to visit. It takes approximately 10 mins to walk to St Marks Square, so it's near enough to walk there but located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. It's clean and very comfortable. As a family of five adults we had two very nice suites which were very spacious! We would recommend staying here to anyone who wishes to visit the fabulous city of Venice!

Nice part of the city.Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: Very nice hotel with nice finishings. We enjoyed our stay. It was a little over priced but Venice in general is expensive.
Cons: For the nightly cost a free minibar would have be great.
Location: 10 min to St Marks square and all the Venice has to offer.
Venice is something to see. We enjoyed our time there. Did lots of walking and exploring the many side streets. Had a few memorable times we will surely think about for years to come.

Beautiful view onto the lagoonPosted Jul 24, 2014
Cons: Mirrors only in the bathroom. Could have done with one outside.
Location: St Marks Sq. about 15min walk away.
Nice hotel located on the lagoon in a quieter area. About a 15min walk to St Marks Square (at times we wished it were closer after a long day of walking). Beautiful view onto the lagoon. Hotel was pleasant and staff were very willing to help. The free gift to visit Murano was nice.

Lovely hotel with Superb ViewsPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: The hotel was quiet and unassuming, in a classic style, staff are friendly and gracious.
Cons: The beds in our room do need to be replaced soonish, they are a little bard and lumpy
Location: The location for us was excellent, just a 10 min stroll to St Marks square,
A lovely hotel, a short stroll from the madness of St Marks Square, but with terrific views. The hotel is charming with tasteful (yacht style) décor, and right on the harbour side affording it clear views across the lagoon into Venice and the Grand Canal. The rooms are very clean the bathrooms are well lit. The staff are very courteous, attentive and happy to help. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and we had a wonderful time in Venice, in no small part to the relaxing environment at the hotel.

On the lagoonPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Style, character, quality and location
Location: So close to the heart of Venice that everything is on your doorstep.
Wanted to treat my wife to somewhere special at the end of a romantic week - Venice - Verona - Venice. Bucintoro was a fantastic location, the room was super quality with a traditional nautical twist. Go for the corner rooms if you can with views back to St.Marks and directly to lagoon - 104,204,304 and 404. Breakfast was to die for in a fantastic environment.

Great hotel, great locationPosted Jun 21, 2014
The hotel was very close to the waterbus station Arsenale; very easy to get around Venice. It was very clean and nice. Excellent view. Not too busy but very close to main attractions.
