Perfect positionPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: For us a highlight was the welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. The buffet breakfast is also excellent.
Location: Very handy for the Peggy Guggenheim collection and the Accademia The Salute and its Vaporetto stop are only two minutes away. On the Grand Canal .
We spent five nights here in February and the hotel was all we anticipated and more. Away from the busy San Marco area but with easy access to Vaporetto line 1 and a land entrance that leads immediately into the quiet streets of Dorsoduro.

Beautiful VenicePosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: The ease of everything. The concierge was great, nothing was a problem from organising boats, trips , guides etc..
Location: Lots to do the hotels very near to St Marks square and all the mian attractions. we took a day trip to two of the other Islands nearby also.
Beautiful Hotel, was originally a convent so very grand building with a lovely courtyard on one side and the grand Canal on the other. The Hotel is actually oppersite the Gritti Palace on the other side of the Grand Canal. The staff really friendly and helpful, the decor / interior of the hotel is very modern.

Took the number 1 vaperetto to Salute and walked a very short distance to the hotel. I did put my suitcases in a locker at Piazzale Roma so that I could travel light. I booked a double room and asked for a canal view. The room was fantastic. It was modern , minimalist with high ceilings and white wooden floors. I could open the windows and sit and watch all the activity on the canal. I didn't eat at the hotel, I ate at nearby local cafes and had some wonderful meals. It had a small intimate feel to it. The staff were polite and professional. The location was fantastic. We walked everywhere in Venice. The hotel was near to Peggy Guggenheim and Acadamia. We did catch the vaporetto to the Rialto Bridge. Highly recommded, would stay there again.

Excellent Hotel on the Grand CanalPosted Oct 4, 2013
Location: This was the first time in Venice that I stayed on the other side of the canal, and it was more quiet. The hotel is very close to the Guggenheim.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms are modern in a very good taste. The staff is not only courteous and professional, but very well trained.

Excellent location with fine facilitiesPosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Location, elegant facilities and superb staff.
Cons: More room space, especially cupboard space.
Location: Faces (on waterside) the Grand Canal. On the right is the Salute (riverbus) stop and the Chiesa deHa Salute. A little way left is the Penny Guggenheim
Wonderful location right on the Grand Canal make this a great place if you are going to use the facilities and spend some time having drinks either at the canal side or in the enclosed garden and meals at the lovely restaurant. Elegant hotel with attentive and excellent staff.

Exceptional Hotel!Posted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: The staff are all fantastic and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. They could not have done more.
The hotel is beautiful and we were delighted with our stay. We took my father-in-law for his 80th birthday and he loved it too. We will definitely be booking again and can't wait to go back.

Nice hotel in a peaceful location of VenicePosted Jul 19, 2013
Pros: The service was second to none! Every request was met with perfection.
Cons: They have a water shuttle that only helps you get to San Marcos location in the evening, so plan to either walk or take a water taxi during the day.
Location: It's near the Duomo. The view from the bridge you cross over to get to the main section of Venice is more beautiful than the Rialto Bridge.
Beautiful location. It's on the wider strip of the Grand Canal. We needed to do some extra walking to get to San Marco's Square, but it's only about 20 minutes of walking and very pleasant.
