Just outside of the busy part of Venice. Wonderfully helpful staff and very nice room looking over the courtyard. Nice and quiet at night.

Hotel with Style and Substance

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: The upgrade to a room with a small balcony overlooking the courtyard.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Near to the Peggy Guggenheim, Accademia and Salute.
As Venice "fans" we wanted a great location and a touch of class for our week-long visit. We received both at 'The Centurion Palace'. From the moment of arrival the staff were welcoming, and continued to be attentive throughout our stay which always makes a difference. At this hotel one can enjoy a relaxed breakfast and also enjoy a night-cap beside the Grand Canal, which is just magical. As a base of "operations" the location enjoys ease of access to the vaporetto and also water taxis. The decor is individual but after a few days we understood the idea ! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would certainly book again for any future visit.

Perfection!

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: The staff are all excellent and make guests feel very welcome and the location cannot be beaten.
Cons: I cannot think of anything.
Everything about the Centurion Palace is excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are fantastic - helpful; friendly and courteous and the whole experience is luxurious. We enjoyed our stay so much last year we returned again for 10 days this year and it was even better. A wonderful experience!

Nothing too much trouble

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff. The shower - it was powerful enough to pin you to the wall! :-)
Location: You can walk everywhere from the hotel. St. Mark's is 30 minutes by foot or 10 minutes using the Vaporetto.
Great place to stay. Almost opposite St Mark's Square. Five minutes walk to the nearest Vaporetto stop at Salute. The £35 three day travel pass is well worth the money. Hotel is very clean, well furnished and situated on the edge of the Grande Canal so you can sit watching the boats go by as you sup your coffee or brandy. Being dropped off by the water taxi at the hotel's private jetty is just incredible. Can/will recommend to everyone.

The room was way above expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpfull always willing to go the extra mile. The food in the restaurant was definitely 5* and all meals were adjusted to cater for my wheat and gluten free diet.

Will be back again

I did a surprise visit to venice for my hubby's birthday and stayed at this hotel it was than I thought it would be, It was lovely everything about it, the room, service, views was great, at nighht time you would get back to the room and there would be little chocolates on the bed, this is a trendy hotel in its style, it is not far from anything. we will be going back there and you will not be dissapointed.
