Convenient, clean, efficient, accomodatingPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: It is clean, efficient, with a good colazione, responsive staff, and accomodating (left a bag for 4 days, no charge). It is secure; everything works.
Cons: It is compact, with a shower as small as a phone booth, but that is the only compromise.
Location: Convenient walk to the station and good connections to airport. Great as a base of operations for local shopping (Prosecco for under 7Es) and Venice.
I used the Hotel Cris as a reasonably priced, close-in to the train station hotel.

Stop off before VenicePosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stopped here overnight before going into Venice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, directing us to the best way to get into Venice and various sights of interest and local eateries. Nice room but a bit small but OK for what we needed. I would use it again .

Easy PointPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is perfect for spending 1-2 days in Veneza. It has an excelent breakfast and the crew was extremely helpful. The rooms are not big, but they have what you need (including a safe). The best point is that there is a bus stop just a few meters from the hotel, and you can get a bus to Veneza with no trouble. It is also very easy to come back with the same bus. The only bad thing about the Cris Hotel is the shower box, wich is very small.

Last night in Europe after long cruisePosted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very pleased with the Hotel Cris. Employees we met spoke excellent Engish and assisted in our dinner reservations and taxi pickup. Breakfast was typical Italy with a nice selection of meats, cheese, juice, cereal and coffee or cappacino. Room was small, but very adequate with European efficiency. Bed gave us the best night sleep with no back pain, after 11 days on a luxury cruise. Highly recommend Hotel Cris. Would definitely stay here again.

Great valuePosted May 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not fancy but a clean quiet room not far from the rail station. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. All for a real bargain price [especially considering Venice's inflated prices].

Great hotel just outside VenicePosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome
Cons: Shower is small, but we found all showers small in Europe!
Location: Good location for quick transportation options directly into Venice. Not too much else to do right around hotel...but didn't matter to us!
Was greeted with smiles and allowed to check in considerably earlier than expected. Hotel felt secure and well serviced. Extremely close to bus stop which took us directly into Venice. Very close to train station which we also used for a 10 minute trip into Venice. The breakfast was plentiful in the morning--enough options for all of us. The hotel itself isn't located near any great restaurants (not that we saw anyway) but we did all our lunch and dinner eating in Venice so it wasn't an issue for us. The price was very affordable and we would certainly consider staying here again if we were to return.
