Closely positioned behind St Mark's Piazza.Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Great position with a nice little courtyard to escape the crowds and great cappacino!
Location: It's close behind St Mark's Square, which house his Basilica and the Doge's Palace.
Although this hotel does not have many ammenitites, it was very clean, the roon was a nice size and the staff were very friendly. Perfectly situated for our excursions.

Wonderful hotel conveniently located !! I would most definitely stay here again!! Wonderful history- it was once a Palace in the 15th century -- Be sure to read the history in the lobby!

Quiet hotel just off St. Marks SquarePosted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: Good location. Good value.
Cons: Decor a bit dated, but very comfortable.
Friendly, attentive staff; one block off St. Marks Square, but convenient to everything. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the canal -complete with exercise bike in room! Nice breakfast each morning; skip the happy hour at the wine bar across from the hotel. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Excellent location, staff friendlyPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Location , easy to walk to every where. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Nice bar for evening drink .
Location: Very central to all restaurants , st marks square. And all sights within easy walking distance.
Excellent location 2 minutes from st marks square, and lots of great restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent and plentiful . Rooms clean. Although room 10 very small. We ordered a drink in the small bar in the evening, which was deserted so only critisum really shame there was not a nice friendly bar for evening drink after a hard days sight seeing. Bar man had to be found to serve us he was not a very happy chap!,

A just ok venue ... Close to St Marks SquarePosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Reception Staff helpful for routes and guides.
Cons: All of the above! Sympathy or refund for a crap experience ....
Location: Lots to do
Front of house staff were very nice and helpful. Sadly Room 33 (Feb 25-27 2014) it was meant to be deluxe we doubt it really... Stains and cracks on ceiling shabby bathroom mastic and holes in walls.( not even tea or coffee making facilities in the room)? At 0715 approx each morning the kitchen and catering team banged and crashed into action which woke as up both days they seemed to have no care or self awareness about guests resting. We had little and often no WIFI so don't be fooled by the promise of a service. Breakfast stale, dry and lack lustre ( we should have listened to Tripadvisor)
