Good Hotel with Good Transport LinksPosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: The staff were lovely and really helpful.
Cons: New Pillows
Location: It was a good location for the bus and train station and felt less touristy.
We had a good stay at Hotel Falier. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs as my mother has Coeliac Disease and they had bought special food for her. What was great about the hotel was that its not bang in the centre like San Marco so it felt less Touristy and it has great bakeries around and Gelato. It is also close to the Train station and Bus Station, which might not seem important, but after traveling for a while the less bridges you have to cross with luggage the better. The only thing that would need improving is some new pillows in the room. Over all good stay.

Great location, friendly/helpful staffPosted Oct 4, 2014
Excellent location for most of the sights, staff really friendly - great welcome each morning from the lady doing breakfasts (she's always busy as turnaround on the tables is quite high) We arrived early (11:00) & only had to wait 5mins whilst they finished cleaning the room, so we checked in early -WiFi password given to us without any need to ask. Had some freaky weather whilst there - heavy hail storm, which left 3 inches of hail on pavements & part flooded some areas that were within 5min walk - very wet shoes!

Clean, characterful little hotel in good positionPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Very clean and well kept. Real italian famly feel/character. 24 hour reception. Continental breakfast. Friendly, charming staff. Good location.
Cons: Not much considering the price, it was a lot better than some other hotels I've paid more for in the UK. No lift though.
Location: A few nice cafe's and bars immediately outside the hotel entrance and alongside the canal. Close to the main bus station and a Vaparetto stop too.
Great little hotel offers good value for money. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and well kept. Rooms are very clean and comfy with good air-con too. Rooms are quite cosy/small, and wet-room shower/bathroom may not be liked by everyone, but I thought it was fine for our 5 days stay and represented great value for money. I stayed there with my elderly parents and they liked it too. Very pleasent location/district too. Highly recommended.

nice hotel, close to stationPosted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
A very comfortable and attractive hotel, 15 mins from train/bus station, so easy to get to without an expensive taxi, but consequently quite a long walk from st marks sq. Breakfast is a bit basic, but adequate. Friendly staff and nice restaurants nearby.

Exceptional!Posted Jul 4, 2014
My wife and I stayed here recently for 4 nights. Firstly, the staff at the hotel, particularly the manager, were brilliant. This made our stay very enjoyable and for this we would return. The hotel is quaint and traditionally decorated located a little way out of the centre of Venice. We were allocated the attic room which was small (and accessed by 3 flights of stairs) but had the luxury of a private balcony/patio area. All aspects of the hotel was clean and welcoming and it had the atmosphere of a family-run hotel. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to frequent the Falia Hotel again soon. Many thanks.

Clean reasonably priced hotel for exploring VenicePosted May 31, 2014
We enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Falier. The hotel was easy to find and a comfortable walk of less than ten minutes from the Bus terminus in Venice. The hotel's position provided a good base for exploring all sides of Venice on foot and the restaurants within the same street provided a good atmosphere and good quality meals at a reasonable price. The hotel had a pleasant appearance and character and was exactly as described on the website. The room was very clean and tidy and the ensuite facilities spotlessly clean and well maintained. We found all the staff friendly, polite and helpful at all times. At breakfast we were always greeted with a cheerful welcome and provided with a good continental breakfast. We found our stay at Hotel Falier comfortable and relaxing providing a foundation for a highly enjoyable time exploring Venice and its maze of streets and canals. We expect to return to Venice again in a few years time and we will definitely look forward to returning to Hotel Falier.
