Great hotel. Very centralPosted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Breakfasts were wonderful (and evening meal). Staff was very attentive and helpful. Hotel is very charming and not too big. Lovely garden.
Cons: The room was too warm even in November, so I wonder what it would be like in high season. Perhaps there is air conditioning?
Location: Very central so we could get to everything we wanted easily by vaporetto. Some good restaurants nearby. Good shopping if you have lots of money.
Met a friend there in November. Perfect location when out of season. The staff was very attentive and breakfasts were wonderful. A very easy place to stay. I would even be happy to stay there on my own.

This is where to stay if you're looking for local charm. It's location is hard to beat- located on the best shopping street in the City + 2 blocks from San Marco square. We're recommending this Hotel to our friends.

Happy in Venice.Posted Oct 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Lovely hotel in a very convenient area. The antique furnishing were beautiful. Our room for 3 had one large bed and a small bed/cot at the foot of the big bed. When we questioned this room for three we were told, "That's how it is in Venice." The staff was very friendly and responsive. The garden court was a delightful place to enjoy breakfast or just to relax.

Amazing experience!!Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: The friendly service, the location (5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square but down an alleyway so it's not too noisy), the room, everything!!
Cons: We kept knocking the power out because the outlets weren't strong enough to handle our converters.
Location: St. Mark's Square (aka the heart and life of Venice) is just a 5 minute walk away!! So this hotel is really close to everything happening there!
I felt like a million bucks staying at this hotel! My friends and I were the only ones staying there who were under the age of 50, which gave the hotel an overall calm and serene environment. And the desk staff went out of their way to make us feel valued. While staying at the Hotel Flora we decided to take a day trip out to Murano, and upon telling the front desk this they arranged a FREE private water taxi, a FREE private tour of the glass factory, and a FREE private viewing of one of the glass masters at work. When we thanked them upon our return they simply said, "We love to serve our people. You're not just the people on the street, to us you are 'our people'." So, yes. We all had a great experience with this hotel and will definitely stay there again if we're ever in Venice :)
