A charming hotel in VenicePosted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Very friendly staff and cleanliness of rooms. Lovely outside area if the weather is nice.
Cons: Proper air conditioning in the rooms and mosquito screens on the windows - we were bitten very badly even in October.
Location: Great location, close to Ca d'Or and loads of shopping opportunities! Fantastic patisseries, cafes and gelato!
The Hotel Giorgione is in a fabulous location easily reachable by water taxi from Marco Polo airport. The staff are all extremely friendly and you will feel very welcome. They all speak English so don't fear if your Italian is not up to scratch! Our room was lovely with an upstairs area with chaise longue and balcony to enjoy the roof-top views of Venice.

Wedding anniversary stayPosted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, behind the reception and at the breakfast room.
Cons: Nothing, it's very italian, it has a charm about it.
Location: The hotel is in a little back street in venice, opposite is a lovely wine bar. The hotel is situated about twenty mins walk from the Rialto bridge.
We stayed at the hotel for four nights and thought it was lovely, the hotel receptionists Andrea, Gianni, and Francesco were very helpful and friendly. The room was very pleasant and clean and looked very venician. The breakfast served had a good choice and set us up for the day. A very deep hot bath was needed at the end of a busy day walking the streets of venice.

Lovely hotelPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff The spacious and tastefully decorated room The courtyard outside with its pool which was a fantastic place to unwind
Location: Situated 10 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge so an excellent base. The hotel itself is in a quiet area so it offers the best of both worlds.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Venice around 10 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and links by the water to all of the other areas of Venice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which when visiting a city for the first time is priceless. The hotel room was beautiful and spacious and a perfect place to get a well deserved and much needed sleep after visiting such a fantastic city.

HOTEL GEORGIONEPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The staff, the atmosphere and the help.
Cons: Giving me a 4 star experience as paid for.
Location: Location not far from canal in Venice and many restaurants all around.
I liked the room very much, clean, pleasing, but bathroom way too small!!!! But again, the room was supposed to be for two people - sleeping separately, not a double bed!!!!!

Perfect gemPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, rooms and staff
Cons: Perfect the way it is
Location: In the centre of Venice just a 10 minute walk to St Marks Square and a 3-4 minute walk to the airport water taxi
Hotel was in a fantastic location. Rooms old venetian style and very large. There were 3 of us and we had a mezzanine which was brilliant. Staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English. The outside courtyard was lovely and a perfect place to eat breakfast

Wonderful hotel, tasteful, sumptuous period Venetian decor, beautiful collection of artwork, silverware and glassware in lobby/reception, close to everything - next to water taxi stop, 4 mins to Rialto Bridge and easy walking distance to St Marks Sq - would definitely recommend to stay here.

Pros: The central location of the hotel
Cons: The hotel staff was not overly friendly.
Location: Located in the Cannaregio district, Giorgione Hotel is a 15-minute walk from St Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace. Also close to the train station.
