An unforgettable experience.

Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of Venice. Beautiful situation over the Grand Canal.
Cons: Some of the equipment is a little out-of-date. Decoration could be improved also.
Location: The perfect location allows us to do what we like better. To walk around Venice and return easily the a central and comfortable point.
We arrived by vaporetto and got out at the Rialto stop. Our hotel was right across the Canal, about 5 minutes walk. Very comfortable stay. Overall better than we expected.

hotel bien placé , personnel aimable

Posted May 9, 2015

In an ideal central Rialto location

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: Traditional, and ideal location
Cons: Bed a little too firm
Location: Easy access to everything, vaperetto, restaurants, shops, bars, markets and of course Rialto bridge
Fantastic yet simplistic hotel next to Rialto bridge. Very pleasant staff, available at all times. Room although small had everything we needed. Non canal view without terrace ensured quiet all night. For upgrade we were told €50 per night (shocking). Awesome continental breakfast set us up for the day. With the central location we were ideally placed to explore everywhere and everything Venice had to offer. Would recommend, it was fit for purpose - sleeping, showering. Did not spend much time in hotel other than to rest our feet..

Noise, Noise, Noise

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Central location
Cons: bathrooms, beds
Location: Rialto Bridge and all major sights within 10-15 minutes walking
Never having been to Venice we booked this hotel for its location - we wanted a view of a canal. We had a choice of a 5 star hotel on a street or a hotel with a 'canal view' hotel and an upgraded room. In hindsight we should have chosen the 5 star hotel on the street. The walls are paper thin (do not stay in room 201 - it is next to breakfast) and every cough, sneeze, chat by other guests can be heard as if you are in the same room. The noise from outside on this extremely busy section of the grand canal at times is deafening and goes through until late at night and starts at dawn. The hotel itself was clean, old and tired the bathrooms were reminiscent of going abroad years ago with hand held showers, no shower curtains and no plugs. The beds are rock hard - I have a firm mattress at home however these were so hard that when one woke up you felt you had been sleeping on the floor. If you are staying one night then the noise probably wont bother you. We stayed 5 and were glad to leave the hotel.

Nice location.

Posted Mar 25, 2015
The hotel was in a confienient location, and very clean. The rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel staff made a rude comment about our room not being kept clean one day, we hadn't spilt anything or smashed anything, just some clothes on the floor. The room was small so not many places to hang clothes etc. This comment was not needed, it's not a big issue, and cleaners should expect rooms not to be kept perfect. the toilet etc was kept clean. There also was long hairs on the bedding which was annoying to remove. Other than this is was lovely

Beautiful view, would pick a different room.

Posted Mar 6, 2015
This room was beautiful 201. The view was outstanding. But there is a door that should be turned I to a wall connecting the room to the breakfast area. It is so thin the door the seats on the other side you can hear them as if they were in the room with you. Breakfast does not start until 8am however you can hear then setting up for breakfast. I strictly came for the view staying one night, so I didn't care. If I was on a full vacation I would change rooms or hotel.
