“Good and Cheap hotel”

The hotel is really good. Our room was clean and comfortable. We took the bus # 5 from the airport to the hotel. The bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel. Can't wait to go back.

“Positioned well”

nice but rather sparse in terms of room comfort. location is super viz. in and out of Venice proper; we were connecting for/from a cruise. Take the local bus for 1.3 Euro from the airport, then another one to the city the next day. 10-15 minutes in either direction. staff are fine; just don't plan on hanging out at the hotel. It is only a way-stop. but we will use it again.

“Not Impressed”

Although I am satisfied with the quality and condition and I recomend it to anyone visiting Venice it cuased not impression and I don't intend to go back in Venice in the future

“Convenient location to airport”

This is not a hotel you would book for more than one or two nights. It's convenience to the airport was our goal and it filled the bill. A shuttle was provided at a reasonable rate to take us to the airport. The rooms were clean and the staff courteous and helpful. Although in a busy section of town it was surprisingly quiet at night. Not many restaurants in area.

Warm, welcoming and extremely helpful front desk staff. Hotel has simple but clean and adequate accommodations. Awesome continental breakfast that exceeded expectations. The staff alone would bring me back. Easy access to airport and downtown Venice.

“A Good Choice for Mestre/Venice”

The hotel is located in Campalto, about a half block from a #5 bus stop, providing inexpensive transportation to and from both the airport and Venice, both of which are about 15 minutes away. The last bus, however, leaves Venice at 12:40 AM, and after that the only way back to the hotel would be a more expensive taxi. The room was very clean and very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Noteworthy in-room amenities included an in-room safe and a flat screen TV, which although had dozens of channels, only one (MTV) had any programming in English. The hotel staff, especially the gentleman who manned the reception desk in the afternoon and early evenings, was exceptional. He spoke perfect English, and gave our party many tips (dining suggestions, bus/transportation schedules, etc.) that resulted in an enjoyable stay. The complementary breakfast included a large variety of items which were fresh and tasted good - especially the fresh pastries which I suspect were baked on premises. With the trattoria located across the street from the hotel closed for holiday, the hotel location presented a slight challenge in finding close places to dine. Nevertheless, a cafe located across the street, open from the late morning through the early morning hours, provided a place to enjoy a good panini, ice cream, or a drink just about any time of the day or night. The Marco Polo is an exceptional value for the money, with outstanding staff, and I would definitely stay there again!

“Perfect hotel for our stay!!!”

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel was very clean and nice. It was a great stay!!! Although the hotel was not in the heart of the city it only took one bus that dropped you off around the corner from the hotel or to the center of the city.

“Great Budget Stay in Venice!!”

Excellent service; very helpful gentlemen covering the checkin; spoke english and gave good suggestions. Price was very acceptable for a budget stay. Bus #5 from airport took about 7 minutes to arrive. Stop was about 1/2 block from hotel. Same bus takes you into Venice in about 15 minutes; the schedule is every 30 minutes and front desk can give times. Breakfast was very pleasing. This location is great for day visits into Venice; you can't stay very late for the lovely, outdoor concerts in the San Marco Plaza as last bus leaves around 11:30pm. Great location for price compared to Venice proper!!!!
