A complimentary European-style cold breakfast buffet is provided each morning during summer on a second-story terrace offering a view of Venice across the lagoon . On winter mornings, breakfast is served in a breakfast room/bar with a marble floor, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lagoon, potted plants, and a Murano glass chandelier. Recreation
The Lido of Venice, a slender, 11.5-km (7.25-miles) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 12-minute waterbus ride east of central Venice, is the city's playground, especially in summer. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf on a course at the island's southern tip 8.5 km (5.25 miles) from the hotel, or take horseback rides.
Much of the Lido's eastern shoreline features public beaches, but there are also many private beaches furnished with cabanas that can be rented by the day from about June 1 to September 1. Cabanas are expensive, often costing as much, or more, than visitors' hotel rooms. For guests staying a minimum of two nights, the hotel offers complimentary use of beach cabanas, umbrellas, and lounge chairs located across the width of the island 600 meters (656 yards) away.
The Venezia Spiagge Beach Resort, 700 yeards away, offers the use of beach facilities including beach facilities with longue chairs and sun umbrellas for a surcharge.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“Fort Mill, SC”
The hotel managers went out of their way to accomidate us. The island reminded me of Hilton Head as people road bikes. We got a 3 day boat pass for 33 Euros and really got our money out of it. It was much nicer to stay at Lido and take boat for 15 minutes to Venice than stay in City. We had a room with an odd location "off the garden" and were bemused by huge medal door and window covers over the normal ones and fenced yard. However this was only odd room in hotel. Breakfast was normal.
“Visit to Venice”
Great location with a "panoramic" view of the Venice lagoon. Directly across the street from the main vaporetto terminal for Lido, it's convenient for touring the main island as well as the local restaurants, etc. Helpful and friendly multi-lingual staff. Excellent breakfast (although the coffee from the dispensing machine sucks). The "economy" room we booked ended up being downstairs to the side of the building but it didn't really matter since we spent very little time inside. Although small, the room was very clean and comfortable.
“Great location”
Hotel Panorama is located right off the vaporetti stop on Lido island. Lido is a great place to stay and the hotel was very comfortable. The only complaint was the size of the shower. We would defintely stay here again.
“would come again”
Nice hotel. The only downside was the charge for internet. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel. It's about a 15 to 20 min taxi ride to San Marco. The staff was very friendly and the room was very spacious.
“Great Location The way to do Venice!!!”
Perfect location easy water trip right over to main part of Venice. Staff was excellent, hotel was very nice. Not a 5 star but a definite 4 star for Europe. Breakfast was better than other reviews showed. Cereals, many different breads and Italian meats. Very satisified!!!! Would definitely go back again on a return trip to Venice!!!!!
“Venice best hotel”
the breakfast they served in the morning was so good. the whole experience was wonderful. I don't remembe the man in charge name but he was the best.. Took care of us to the tee.
“Chose any but the economy romm”
In a four star hotel, one does not expect a room without windows. The economy room does not deserve to be in such category. It looks like an adapted storage room. Only junior suit was worthed.
“Great little hotel on Lido Island.”
Loved the hotel and loved Lido Island. Was very easy to find and the place was very charming. Rate was great with Expedia too. Would surely stay there again.
“Good hotel @ Lido”
You can find good and cheap Chinese restaurant near the hotel. Hotel room is smaller than expected but still nice.
“Lido's Hotel Panorama, a Must Stay.”
Only yards from the Vaporetti water bus, Hotel Panorama was a joy. We were so glad to see it from the boat. The interior is light and breezy with a staff that is completely helpful and refreshing. A veranda has a delightful view of Venice that is to die for at sunset. The free breakfast was traditional european with a bit more. The chocolate filled crosants were heavenly. Situated near the main street of Lido, it affords a pleasant easy walk to shopping and fine dining without the bustle of Venice itself. Flowers were everywhere in May and we sampled the Gellatoria's while strolling. We recommend the rooms with the Venitian window views through which you have a small balcony. Definity Understated Elegance at a good price. Hotel Panorama gets five stars out of five in my book.
