One of the best locations in Venice

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Spacious bathroom with jacuzzi bath and power shower. Comfortable bed and large armchairs. Great breakfast with DIY freshly squeezed juice.
Cons: Curtains and bedcover a little tired .
Location: Central for sightseeing.
We had a junior suite with views across the lagoon to St Georgio Maggiore. This stunning view from the little balcony makes you never want to leave the room.

Style, comfort and THAT view ... at a fair price

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location, period style, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It could not be more convenient for St Mark's so it's pefrect for a first-time visitor to Venice.
The hotel has genuine style. The staff are courteous and could not be more helpful; they changed our room immediately when we decided we'd prefer one on the front. Sure, it's on the Riva which is always busy during the day, but if you want that view.....! In any case, good double glazing means that you are barely aware of it in the room.

Weekend Break to Venice

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Right next to St Marks Square.
My wife and I had a lovely time. The hotel was great, very comfortable with excellent staff and in a brilliant location for St Marks Square, and for shops, bars, restaurants and the other sights. The Water Buses and Taxis are right outside the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Return to Venice

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: The location. The water bus from the airport stopped right outside the hotel.
Cons: Provision of a restaurant and a bar would be great.
Location: The location was the best thing about this hotel. Close to but not on St Mark's Square and 50 yards from a water bus stop.
We first visited this hotel about 5 years ago at the same time of year. The location is outstanding but the facilities in the hotel are somewhat lacking in so far as there is no bar or restaurant apart from breakfast or snacks. We felt we were misled as on booking a second visit we understood that the restaurants advertised in the hotel details had been added since our first visit. However we were comfortable.

Good location

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Reception staff Location
Location: St Marks square literally a 2minutes away Right on the entrance to the grand canal, with fabulous views across the water.
We had a problem with our room on the first night. This was addressed quickly and we were moved. Important to us - there was not a restaurant or bar at the hotel in the evening. In front of the hotel during the day, we could get snacks and drinks, excellent.

Lovely and would stay again

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Wonderful stay. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Fabio was especially helpful which we really appreciated. Perfect location - right in front of the piazza San Marco stop and close walking to everything. The room we had was in the 2nd building with a view of a church and was newly updated, comfortable, and quiet. Everything was immaculately clean. Great breakfast the next morning with a huge variety and where you can make your own fresh squeezed orange juice or even juice with carrots. We loved it and hope to stay here again.

Perfect location!!!

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Lovely, great location, and wonderful staff!
Cons: Wifi, for those who can't survive without those devices at their ears and fingertips at every moment. I am not one of those.
Location: Absolutely fabulous location! St. Mark's square, Doges Palace, less than a five minute walk!
From the moment we arrived we felt very at home! The hotel is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The staff made us feel like family, and were exceptionally warm. The Hotel could not have been more centrally located, just outside, only steps to the water bus, taxi's, and gondolas. Just a few minutes of walking to St. Mark's square and the Doges Palace! All kinds of shops and access to all of the side streets and bridges over the canals. The rooms were lovely, and accommodated my daughter and I very well. The only exception for my daughter was somewhat sketchy WiFi, the hotel lobby, which was very comfortable, was the only location she could get a good signal. I consider this to be a very minor inconvenience! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Venice!
