Mandatory Fees and Taxes

“Enjoyable stay, nice breakfast”

A great location away from, but still close enough to Venice. Lovely main boulevard with many cafes and shops. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the continental breakfast.

“Lido Boutique Hotel”

We opted to stay on Lido island due to the expense and crowds of Venice. We found it comfortable and convenient as it is easy to get to Venice using the water buses. The Water buses are a bit expensive though. It would be nice if the hotel could offer discounts and advice as to how to tour Venice. Room was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom with the exception of a very small shower. Breakfast offered proscuito, cheese, poached eggs, fruit and "excellent" coffee.

Area recommendations

Lido island is very nice. Walking distance to water buses one way and beaches the other. Glad we chose to stay here instead of the main island of Venice.

Getting around

Plan on using water buses as opposed to water taxis. They are much cheaper, they stop at all the main areas of Venice and run every ten minutes or so. Easy to use.
