Pleasantly SurprisedPosted Oct 25, 2013
Spent two nights here during October 2013. Having never been to Venice before, we were expecting quite a budget B&B given the choice of places to stay. But this is more like a small hotel - very well equipped rooms, even with a small fridge and mini bar. Breakfast is served at your chosen time on a trolley in the room which feels nice and private. The staff are extremely helpful and willing to answer questions. They changed our double bed into two singles as requested (2 friends staying together!) the moment we arrived. Just be sure that if you have electrical items to pack the correct plug adaptor - European 2 pin adaptors don't fit!

Hidden gem near fish marketPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Good location; nicely equipped bathroom; friendly staff; value for money.
Cons: Pillows were quite hard and flat. Breakfast served in room was ok but coffee could have been warmer and juice colder.
Location: Quite close to Rialto Bridge and markets so it's a busy area. Lots of places for watching people and the traffic on Grand Canal.
Nice little hotel near the fish market. Small but clean room, bathroom very good. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Would possibly stay again.

Very Nice hotel, the only thing is hard to find itPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: the Bedroom furniture
Location: was in a good location all attraction close by, you can walk to every where with in 5-15 Min
I loved every thing about the hotel, but it took us more than an hour to find it, especially for a first time visit to Vince we asked so many people around the city to help us to find it, other than that the hotel was unique and so special we loved it thank you ( Locanda Poste Vecie )

Great little B & B but it is only a 3 STARPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great location but a bit hard to find at first. Walking distance to everything important and very close to the vaperetto stop. The breakfast is basic but good and on time when you request. Beds are a hard and the safe in the room didn't work. They said they tried to fix it but I don't think they even attempted.

Good value for money, perfect for a short breakPosted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: We loved the uniqueness, friendly staff and location of the Locanda Poste Vecie.
Cons: Nothing negative to say
Location: Excellent location, near Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge, short walk to St Marks.
After reading the favourable reviews of this hotel on review sites, it didn't disappoint. Hotel staff were extremely accommodating of our needs. On taking breakfast earlier than initially anticipated on our departure day, they were very obliging at short notice and were more than happy to provide us with an earlier meal. This hotel is perfect for a short getaway in an excellent central location, comfortable with lovely staff and all in all good value for money.

We loved every aspects of this wonderful B & B.Posted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The directions provided on getting to this lovely B&B were excellent and had fun following each step of the way! This was a gem in a wonderful location and would highly recommend it to all our friends. Our hosts were very accommodating, the breakfast was lovely, and we actually were able to return to the train station by following all the signs and it only took about 25 minutes. We had left the bulk of our luggage at the train station following a 7 day cruise to the Greek Islands. This allowed us to more easily explore all the bridges, canals, and narrow streets of Venice.

Horrible experiencePosted Jun 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arriving at the hotel we were told that the hotel was overbooked and we were to be moved to hotel on the other side of the Grand Canal. Pulling luggage up and down the Rialto bridge following the hotel receptionist on a 20 minute journey on a very busy Saturday. No notice was attempted (email/phone etc) to let me know that they had given away our room. Reading other comments it is apparent that this is not the hotels first time pulling this trick. I would advise anyone thinking about staying here to consider another hotel.
