This is a quite little place outside city limits. So if you have a car it’s the perfect affordable place to stay to sleep at. There is a bus stop that you can walk to-it will take you to Venice where you can take the ferry. We chose to drive our personal vehicle and parked near the ferry area paid 20 euros for the entire day, got them took the ferry. The room we stayed in had two beds, nice and clean.

Good-priced and very clean accommodation if you are arriving to Venice area in the evening and don't want to spend money paying for an extra hotel night in Venice. The hotel is easy to find and is right on the road to Venice and a short drive to the very reasonable MARIVE parking (7 euro per day) from which you can take a ferry (10 euro roundtrip) to Venice.

Excellent place if you want to enjoy the country side, with easy access to Venice (bus stop within 100m), super convenient to those travelling by car. Also easy access to Chioggia and its beaches. There are many small towns with good eating options (eg. Campagnia Lupia) with even a nice gelateria.

If you don't drive, No!
It is hard to get to this place without a car. There was no public transportation from train station to this hotel and taxi costed a lot so we ended up staying at other hotel. If you don't drive it is the last place to stay.

Dear customer, we are sorry that you have not been able to reach us. We know that from the train station there are buses in our direction every half hour. It is the same bus line that easily connects us with the city of Venice. Maybe if you called us, we would give you all the information. Happy holiday

Ideal location between Venice and the beach, with easy access to either by bus or car. Our hotel room and bathroom were always clean, with comfortable bed and pillows provided, as well as a great breakfast.

Even tho its ok hotel its expensive compare to other hotel close to the city. they well-maintained the building but still its not worth 80 Euros a night. basicly its a farm house turned into a hotel. Breakfast buffet could be better.

Great Base for Venice
This hotel is a great place for traveling to Venice if you just need a decent room and a good breakfast. Not recommended if you're coming from the airport but if you're driving a long ways to Venice then this is the perfect place for you. Staying in Venice itself is not only expensive but stressful as finding your hotel while towing your luggage can be time consuming. The hotel has free parking and free breakfast. The hotel is located in a more rural area so make sure you eat before coming back. The bus is across the street and comes once an hour. The bus ride is maybe 30 minutes and stops right at the parking lot in the island. No cars are allowed in Venice so this is as far as it goes. For two people to go round trip into Venice is just under 20 euro. I don't know how late the bus runs but make sure you find out and don't miss it as a taxi might hurt your wallet. The owner is a serious man but was helpful. I would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone under the condition that they know how to get the bus back from Venice. As a side note the bus ride was the worst part of our trip, I don't know if it was just our specific driver but make sure you know when to get off when coming back from Venice and which bus to get back onto.

Best afforable gateway hotel to Venice
Bus to and from Venice stops right outside the hotel, with 30-min intervals on weekdays and 1-hr intervals during weekends. Hotel owner Frank is very nice and helpful.

20 minutes by bus to Venice
Clean small rooms, a/c turned off from September regardless whether weather still hot. Restaurant very basic. Breakfast OK. Location near highway with buses leaving to Venice every half hour which was great. Good value for money.

Great stay
We stayed overnight after finishing a cruise. The hotel was excellent, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, air-conditioned rooms, good breakfast. The only thing is that it was a bit too out of the way. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to central Venice, but that's all. When we came to leave we asked to order a taxi for us, but the gentleman couldn't find a taxi to pick us. He was kind enough to offer to take us himself for a bargain price.

We wanted to be outside Venice and leave our hire car safely and use taxis to and from Venice. Lowered the overall rating as there are lots of steps to drag our bags to the room. Our fault for having heavy bags. Only had a couple of meals there and food was good. No real complaints and excellent value compared to accommodation in Venice itself.

From Marco Polo Airport, you take the bus to the VENICE Central Station. From there, ask or buy a ticket to LUGO. It's about 20 minute ride. Hotel is right by LUGO bus stop. From Hotel to Venice, bus runs every half hour. Last bus 11pm from Venice to Lugo. Ask/Call hotel, the desk manager/owner is friendly man.

Beautiful country hotel, clean, comfortable
We stayed 3 nights at Locanda Zabotto and received a lot of assistance from the owner in regards to busing to Venice, outside attractions, and travel info. The hotel is a 30 minute bus ride from Venice, which costs €4 each way. The bus comes every 30 minutes. If you are ok with riding the local bus to and from Venice, this hotel is perfect. The place is spotless and well-kept. Our room was cleaned each day, there is a nice breakfast we ate out on the patio each morning (breads, pastries, cheese/meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee), and the hotel has a restaurant that is reasonably priced with delicious pasta. We would come again!

Close to Venice, great prices, good food at reasonable prices, they bake the bread daily on-site and it was excellent. Great one-man-show owner, very welcoming and accomadating. Small family run hotel, rooms are clean and tidy. If you are looking for the ritz this wont make you happy but if you are looking to keep more money in your pocket and relax a bit then its perfect.

Perfect hotel stay for Venice
Very welcoming reception, good English spoken, such a help! The owner provided us for a cost of €5 each way, bus tickets to Venice which was invaluable as well as advice on where to embark and disembark. The breakfast was €5 per person and was good value. We ate dinner there 2 nights and that was ok. It cost approx €30 which included a 'bucket' of house wine. There's no kettle for tea or coffee making which is a shame although we did have a travel kettle and stuff, you need to be prepared. Theres Lso a free safe which was useful. We'll certainly stay there again.

Great place outside of Venice. We were late coming into Venice to due a late train. With a quick call to the hotel, the owner stayed open and provided us with sandwhiches since we were starving. The bus stop is just 300 ft away. The only problem we had with the hotel was the shower doors, they didn't close completely and the floor kept getting wet. We had trouble locating the bus on the way back from Venice, I want to say it was in the back or second row, probably 2 or 3 buses over, you have to read the signs at each stop. The hotel is a good price, you can get there by bus, but car is better. If traveling by car I would recommend a GPS.

Nice hotel if you're traveling by car and want to do a day trip to Venezia. Located in a very small village, so there isn't much options if you want to go out for dinner. The food provided by hotels own restaurant is however very good, and decently priced.

I recommend this hotel. It is clean, new or recently updated, helpful staff. The breakfast is coffee, juice, biscuits, jam, butter, it is OK, I liked the coffee. You can eat out on the covered front porch area. In evenings, the hotel has a restaruant, we only used it once and it was tasty. Mostly we ate in Venice (down on the island). The hotel is on the mainland, so you will need to bus into Venice each day, which we did. The bus ride was 1/2 hour, walking to the bus station is 5-7 minutes. The station is on a fast highway. Waiting is from 5-15 minutes once you arrive to the little bus station, there is no bench. Even with all of that, it is still worth it. Hotels are very expensive in Venice, this hotel seems like a family run place. Our hotel room was quiet, comfortable,clean, wifi was great, TV was nice but only 1 station in English (music station). The FAQ part of their website was incorrect when referring to a bus called "underwater" and I found out later that it meant "Sotomarina" instead.This lead us to getting in later than expected.

A good quality, family run hotel with a very helpful and friendly owner. Excellent room standards, clean and easy to find. Ample car parking, dog friendly, good internet (free wifi), large widescreen tv. The meals were a little too costly though. Would surely stay again!

El sitio es muy tranquilo, pero requiere una puesta al día, las instalaciones son bastante precarias. No hay ascensor, y nos cambiaron a la planta baja. En general no lo recomiendo.

Sehr alte Möbel. Dadurch dass unten ein Restaurant ist. Riecht das komplette Hotel nach Essen. Rezeption war ein Herr der auch für die Bedienung zuständig war, deshalb wirkte er sehr gestresst.

Letto matrimoniale con due materassi singoli che ovviamente creano il buco in mezzo. Colazione senza possibilità di scelta: mi sono trovato al tavolo il piatto in foto, Tutto immangiabile. Comodo il parcheggio esterno.

Grazie Salvatore per la tua ottima opinione, é stato un piacere ospitarvi e speriamo possiamo tornare presto magari per visitare oltre che la Serenissima , anche altri siti interessanti della zona,come Chioggia e Sottomarina con le sue lunghe spiagge. La riviera del brenta con le molte ville disegnate dal Palladio per i nobili veneziani,e ancora Padova,Vicenza e Verona. Tutte citta ' facilmente raggiungibile dalla nostra locanda.

Nella locanda sabotato ho solo dormito senza fare colazione … piena libertà di entrare e uscire a qualsiasi ora … camera pulitissima … per me merita un buon giudizio
