Breakfast was disappointing - not a great range of food.

Could have been betterPosted Jul 8, 2013
Stayed 3 nights as part of a honeymoon trip. Arrival- complimentary champagne- nice; poorly cleaned room which was smaller than expected- not so nice. However, we were provided a nicer and properly cleaned room the following day. Enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel- good variety and also the convenience of the location.

Beautiful, luxurious hotel in great locationPosted Jul 2, 2013
Cons: Like all hotels in Venice, it seemed over-prices compared to other cities in Italy.
Location: We could easily walk everywhere. Lively little piazza right out the front door.
Perfect location. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was luxurious. Staff very kind. Breakfast was delicious and included many offerings.

great hotel in central locationPosted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Palazzo Paruta is a great boutique hotel in Venice. It is centrally located so you can walk everywhere. We stayed in a superior room and it was beautiful with a large, all-marble bathroom. The breakfast was great. The hotel employees were friendly and attentive. Taxis cannot go direct to the hotel (only gondolas), so it was slightly difficult to navigate there with all our luggage. As with all of Venice, there are many bridges so be prepared for lots of stairs.

Great locationPosted Jun 14, 2013
Pros: Breakfast was superb.
Cons: Our room was up a set of stairs and not accessible from the elevator.
Good location. Not far from the Rialto Bridge and the Academy Bridge, but area not overrun with tourists. Superb breakfast - best I've had in a while. Room was small, but all rooms are in Venice.

Great staff, locationPosted Jun 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was terrific, breakfast had many things to choose from, the surrounding neighborhood felt very safe. Suite was large, clean and decorated with antiques and large beautiful Venician chandelier. This was my second stay at Palazzo Paruta.

Small personal hotel for a luxury city break.Posted May 24, 2013
Location: Location great just 10min stroll from ST Marks.
Hotel really great location. Very tradition Venetian luxury look. As previous feedback said rooms are very compact but very nice. Free afternoon tea was a lovely extra after a hard afternoon sightseeing!

Great location, very pretty.Posted May 20, 2013
Pros: The rooms were lovely as were the 'red room' for afternoon tea and the breakfast room. An amazing breakfast was available.
Cons: The staff was most helpful when we were making arrangements, but they were not especially friendly or accommodating to guests.
Location: Perfect location - right on a canal. In fact the gondola goes right by the entrance. A bit of a walk from the water taxi, so plan luggage accordingly
Venice is amazing and the hotel is central to everything.

Comfortable, excellent locationPosted May 19, 2013
Cons: Difficult to find
Very good location although poor signage makes the building difficult to find particularly in the dark. Good breakfast with variety Cute room- small but opulent. Comfortable bed.

Lovely all around service and central neighborhoodPosted May 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
It couldn't have been more pleasant. All staff were attentive and accommodating and friendly. Our room was lovely and fresh and just off anise sitting area outside where we enjoyed morning coffee. All shops were easily close by and receptionist always helpful with directions and answering questions.
