Pros: Location. Staff very accommodating and genuinely pleasant
Location: Right on the Grand Canale half way between the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge Dell' Accademia with a great view of the Palazzo Tiepolo across the way.

Great location for a lovely hotelPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: The size of the rooms, quality of the bedding and the lovely bathroom.
Cons: Maybe more of a choice for breakfast and some larger tables so we could sit with our friends. And a choice of pillow softness would be nice.
Location: Good location and near to most things. Easy to walk to most of the sights although a water bus stop is right outside. It's an expensive place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is minutes from the Rialto bridge and St Marks square. Our room was very good with everything we could ask for (except perhaps a view from the window). The rooms were large with a big bed and crisp white linen and the bathroom with jacuzzi bath was fantastic. It was a little dark but we over looked a small garden with big trees. Breakfast was adequate although the dining room is small and did not have the canal views promised, but that was a minor thing. The bar was good although small and the snacks offered were a nice surprise. Also another small thing it would be good to be offered a choice of pillow softness.

Great service, excellent location.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Very good experience (second time there). Excellent service, quickly ironed out a couple of minor issues, and a great location, right on the Grand Canal. Local as well as airport vaparettos, plus their own pier for taxis. Fine bar too. We'll be back.

Excellent location - reachable by Alilaguna busPosted Sep 3, 2013
Location: St Mark square is just a short walk away. Many nice restaurants nearby - just ask the front desk for recommendation
Location is most convenient - reachable by the Alilaguna water bus San Angelo stop. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff is most helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable hotel well locatedPosted Aug 16, 2013
Firstly I have to declare that we received an upgrade from a deluxe room to a junior Suite so my review is based on our accommodation. Nevertheless the standards in this hotel were faultless, everything was pleasing. The staff were particularly eager to please and always cheerful. Sheets were changed daily, as is normal, our towels were changed twice a day - very nice as it was very hot during our stay (August). The hotel public rooms were located at the front with views of the Grand Canal. Indeed the location of the hotel was excellent for the guests. Just below the Rialto and with a vaperetto station just a few metres from the front door.It has its own landing stage, ideal if you use a water taxi. We found it easy to walk to many places from where we were. We were in San Marco but away from the busiest places which was pleasant as Venice was of course teaming with tourists at this time of the year. I would certainly use this hotel again.

Great Hotel for stay in Venice.Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Everything. The location, quality of rooms, Staff everything. cannot find any faults.
Cons: Just keep up the excellent standard.
Location: Fantastic. Easily reachable by water Taxi. Everything is nearby. Sant Marco square is just 10 mins walk.
We had a Fantastic stay at Palazzo Sant'Angelo sul Canal Grande in Venice. The hotel is beautiful and just a few steps walk from the water Taxi station. I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Venice. A special mention to Minette at the reception who was extremely helpful. The entire staff was very very helpful which made our stay even more special. Infact our best hotel stay in Italy by far.

Great location but the staff made stay unpleasant.Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Junior suite room size
Cons: Front staff - lose the arrogance attitude
Location: Walking distance to Rialto and San Marco but not many restaurants close by.
We had a junior suite which was wonderful in size. We were not impressed with the decor of the hotel. Seemed outdated and tired. Upon check-in, the person behind the counter was arrogant. Did not feel warmly greeted so that is how things started. Only got worse from there. The breakfast room felt like a library. Very cramped and small. Food choices limited. The ambiance of the hotel is very stuffy. Would not recommend especially for the room prices and had to pay for wi-fi. Look elsewhere!

Great Hotel.Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Very clean. Jacuzzi tub was awesome after a long day of walking.
Cons: I like room a little colder. Summer days were very hot
Location: Right next to water bus stop and centrally located between St Marks and Rialtto
First class service. Very clean. Venice is hard to get around but this hotel is right next to a water bus stop. I would definitely stay here again.
