Central

Pros: Everything
Cons: Too many stairs but it is Venice so they can be expected
Location: Great
It was an excellent place that we would us again. Central to all you would need. The staff are so helpful in all respects. Just a gem to find in Venice.

Best staff

Posted Mar 18, 2014
We stayed 2 nights after touring around Italy for 7 days and 5 different hotels. The staff was by far the best we encountered. So friendly, pleasant and very helpful. They gave us a free upgrade without us even asking. It was nice to be in an apartment after 7 nights in small hotel rooms. The locating was great too. We found it with no issues and it was near everything.

Perfect location, excellent room and service.

Pros: Location, breakfast, size of room, service.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to Rialto Bridge and St Mark's.
If I could give six points for some aspects of this hotel I would...that is a measure of how good we found it to be. It is absolutely perfect for those on a short stay in Venice and ideal for those with children. We had an apartment with a bedroom with a huge bed in it, together with a sitting room, with a large sofa bed. It was well appointed throughout. The sitting room (pictured) also contained a kitchen. An extensive cold breakfast was provided and replenished each day. It was ideal for us with children as we could take it at our pace and anything we didn't eat at breakfast, could be used for lunch. There was always plenty of variety and was much better than we had expected. Location was great, being less than 5 mins from the Rialto bridge. There are also good restaurants nearby, our favourite being Mario's. Definitely worth a visit, especially as there is a 'half price' (it's not half price, but that's what it is called) menu which enabled the children to have what they wanted. Venice overall didn't seem as expensive as we thought, although I think it is probably the rest of the world that is catching up with Venice prices rather than it being cheap! One slight caution, which didn't affect us, because of the children...there is some work on an adjoining building (drilling, hammering etc), which may mean that sleep beyond around 8am is a bit tricky, but so minor was the disruption as not to be an issue for us. The two staff that we saw were very helpful too.

Centrally located - great place!

We had a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment (we took our 17 and 11 year old sons). The apartment was on the second floor (no elevator) and overlooked one of the canals. It even had a small balcony. The beds (king / 2 twins) were very comfortable and the bedrooms were separated by a living room & kitchen / so lots of privacy. The staff was very helpful and made reservations for us at restaurants that we requested. 5 - 10 minute walk to San Marco Square - but centrally located - so any walk in Venice wouldn't be more than 20 minutes.

Excellent location & great staff!

This place is awesome, we stood in the 1st floor 1 bdrm apartment which had great views of the canals! You can see the gondolas passing by while preparing breakfast each morning. The apartment was conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge & St. Marks Sq. Every morning our fridge was stocked with breakfast items and snacks which was the BEST!!! The place was very modern & clean and in the morning if there is high water due to the tides they provide you with rain boots and umbrellas at no charge. The staff was very helpful they arranged our water taxi coming and going and it all went very smoothly as you can dock right by the hotel. This place was amazing but the price was even more amazing simply the best!

Exceptional value

This is not a hotel per se but more of a "residence", so if room service and such is important this is not for you. On the other hand, the room was large (separate kitchen, living room and bed room), very clean and modern. Kitchen was exceptional and well stocked. The lady at the desk was very helpful but she was only there until 4 PM. It was centrally located between Rialto and St Marks but a little hard to find. Will recommend to all my friends.

Brilliant!

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. The whole experience was superb! The staff were extremely helpful. Before we even arrived they made contact with us and gave us some very helpful information and directions to find the hotel. On our second day Venice flooded, so the lovely reception staff made a point of seeing us before we left for the day and supplying us with gumboots - which were a lifesaver!! The facilities were fantastic! The rooms have everything you could need, and were super clean. The location is the best, only a couple of minutes from the Rialto Bridge. I would definitely stay here again, and would most certainly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent choice

Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Location, thoughtfulness of room facilities, nice decor, great staff and cleanliness.
Cons: A key drop off box for those leaving before reception opens.
Location: You can't really get more central! Rialto, Grand Canal, St Mark's Square, Cannaregio, Gallerie Academia...all within walking distance.
Excellent location - literally minutes away from both the Rialto Bridge & St Mark's Square, well equipped rooms, very clean and comfortable, and welcoming staff. Perfect for families or those who want a bit more space / sitting room. Will definitely stay again.
