“Excellent Hotel”

Excellent in all respects and in superb location half way between the Rialto and St Marks. Only slight disappointment was that there was no bar available in the hotel, but there are alterations underway inside the hotel (early April) and perhaps that is being rectified. Would definitely try and stay at this hotel next time. There were 10 in our party and we are all of the same opinion.

“Super location”

Excellent location. Lovely, clean and well laid out rooms - newly decorated so they were absolutely spotless. The staff were very helpful. I really can't fault it and would definitely stay there again when I return to Venice.

“Great value in Venice”

This hotel was very nice - it just was large enough so that it felt professional and welcoming without being overwhelming. The price was excellent for what you got: the room was large (for Venice especially) the furniture and decor was pleasant and new looking, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. The price included a very nice breakfast in the dining room as well, with all the European standards as well as some American-friendly dishes like scrambled eggs. All in all it was a great experience - a good price that included breakfast, a very nice and spacious room, and it was very convenient to St. Marks and the Rialto. Although it is perhaps not the most "charming" or typically venetian hotel, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very nice room in a good location for a good price.

“Perfect location, great hotel!”

We booked a three night stay in April. The hotel is located right in the centre of the action, a stone's throw from St. Mark's Square. The staff were very friendly, the room extremely comfortable, great beds! Breakfast was ok, usual continental selection, plus bacon and eggs (which were almost cold on all 3 days), no variation from day to day so a bit boring. Probably better off eating elsewhere and saving on hotel rate. Otherwise couldn't fault it. If I went again (which will do, as Venice is beautiful) would probably opt for cheaper hotel further away from St. Marks Square as you are definately paying for location, but once you have your bearings very easy to travel around, and fun, on the water buses and Venice is quite small place to explore so more value for money to be found slightly further out.

“Superb hotel”

Excellent hotel, 2 mins walk from St. Mark's Square and 5 mins from Rialto Bridge. Slightly tricky to find. Staff very pleasant and hospitable, although one grumpy waitress at breakfast! Very clean and comfortable. Upgraded due to special anniversary and a number of personal touches. Tea and coffee making facilities in room a real bonus! Would highly recommend this hotel. Enjoy!

“Loved Venice”

We had 2 standard rooms during the Christmas holiday. The rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The staff was efficient and helpful with our requests. The hotel is located near St. Mark's Square but is in a quiet location. We would stay there again.

“Venice in the Winter - Recommended”

I agree with all the positive reviews of this hotel; a stay here can be a reasonably priced delight. The centrality and convenience of its location can't be over-stressed and Venice itself was quiet and a lovely temperature for brisk sightseeing. Eating in the hotel looks expensive, but 20 euros buys you very acceptable meal in several places just across the Rialto bridge and 50 gets you something very special, I think. If you get to the Basilica early you will only share it with only a few others - highly recommended. Also, the 'Secret Itineraries' tour of the Doge's Palace is excellent. I can't think that many visitors to this hotel would be disappointed. At any point in your itinerary you can nip back to the hotel for coffee in a (probably) deserted, very comfortable lounge. That's real luxury.

“So well placed for seeing Venice”

Other reviews are correct rooms are not big but big enough. They have been fitted out well and you have everything you need, very comfortable beds and pillows. So easy to get to once you know where it is!. Get off and the Rialto stop and ask someone less than 5 mins walk. Take the water bus cost 6.50 each or take a taxi 80 euros. Be careful of prices in Venice drinks are very expensive, enjoy
