Strategic locationPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Comfortable, clean
Cons: Difficult to find the hotel as the address given point to an opening which the hotel has stopped using. We have to check in via hotel royal San Marco
Location: Strategic location
Excellent, but will be even better if free wifi available at home

Amazing hotel and location.Posted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location! The size of the room was perfect, for a family wanting to stay together.
Location: Perfect location when travelling with family. Near shops, restaurants St. Mark's square.
If you are travelling with kids or a large family, this is the hotel. It is set up as an apartment. Our room had two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed, perfect for the five of us. The hotel is located on the street behind Saint Mark's Square. It is a short distance from the water taxi, not a long distance to walk with your luggage. The staff was very helpfull in making suggestions where to shop and eat. The buffet breakfast was a perfect way to start the morning, enough items to choose from and to have a good meal. Can't wait to return to Venice!

Amazing location! 10 second walk to St Marks Square. Very clean, modern bathrooms done to the nines. Huge rooms. Only downfall... No wine cork opener. Had to go to a bar so they could open our wine.

Nice Rooms and Location. Staff were not the friendliest nor were they very helpful for information. It also took them 4 hours to have our room ready upon check in.

Pros: Great great location. Beautiful room.
Cons: Free wifi
Location: Best location In San Marco
Absolutely great location. In the heart of St Marks Square. Nice hotel. Great staff. We went with my parents and they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom suite for FREE! It had a living room and kitchen and courtyard. Very nice hotel. Recommend highly. Free breakfast And they say its continental but it is so much more.

Great location just of St Marks Square.Posted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice big rooms. v. clean and great location. Breakfast is fairly basic but sufficient. The hotel is down a small alleyway and when you turn the corner and see the view of St Marks Square and the Grand Canal it's breathtaking. Steer clear of bars and restaurants on the square and banks of the Grand Canal as they are pricey, venture into the alleyways for better deals.

Perfect location !!!Posted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you want location this is it!!! My kids had the best room - balcony that over looked the back of the astrology clock!!! Got a bottle of wine & pizza & the best location. The rooms are large - had two suites - one had hot water - the other did not. Also wifi not available in room. Staff excellent & very helpful.

Rude and Indifferent Staff , Beware of kitchenettePosted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: Hotel is nice and clean and breakfast is good. workers at breakfast and luggage are very nice and helpful. Hotel is well situated
Cons: reception and other service atttitude , kitchen
Location: located in St Mark square and one can do all shopping, visiting the square etc and also access to other islands thru boats
After staying in Rome and Florence in apartment style hotels, this hotel was very disappointing. Firstly, I struggled to reach hotel from Train station. The water taxi does not go up to the door of the hotel and hence you have to get off at another point and there is a considerable walk including steps that you have to endure. With a senior citizen with me and 4 heavy bags, this was terrible. Also, there is no clear direction of how to reach hotel that is provided. Many other hotels nearby are cheaper and have direct water taxi to the hotel door which is not only convinient but also a nice exclusive experience to go from station to hotel door in water. Suite Torre dell fails miserably in this regard and they dont even help for transfers The kitchennette is useless since hotel provides NO pans, dishes or even cups for microwave. I asked and they said "go to the kitchen" and see if they will give you some. Kitchen staff said they can only give cups and even that they were not sure is microwaveable. Staff was indifferent and we gave up trying to use kitchen. Hotel is nice and clean and breakfast is good. I also found the workers who helped with breakfast and luggage to be very nice and helpful unlike the front desk and reception folks who are indifferent. Hotel is well situated but you pay the very expensive price for that.
